How to Fix Mouse Acceleration

This fix removes the controller-like mouse acceleration, making mouse movement feel smoother and more responsive.

Step 1: Download the Mod

Download MouseAccelerationFix P.zip from the Nexus Mods page:

Step 2: Install the Mod

1. Extract MouseAccelerationFix P.zip.
2. In Steam:
   • Right-click Echoes of Aincrad.
   • Select Manage → Browse Local Files.
3. Navigate to:

...\EchoesofAincrad\Content\Paks\~mods

4. If the ~mods folder does not exist, create it.
5. Copy the extracted files into the ~mods folder.

Step 3: Test Mouse Movement

Launch the game and check whether the mouse movement feels smoother.

After installing the fix:

• Mouse movement should feel more responsive.
• Cursor speed will likely be much faster than before.

Reduce the in-game mouse sensitivity to a comfortable level. Many players prefer using the lowest available sensitivity after installing the fix.

Step 4: Adjust Mouse DPI

If the mouse is still too sensitive:

1. Leave the game running.
2. Press Alt + Tab (or another method) to switch to the desktop.
3. Open your mouse software (Logitech G Hub, Razer Synapse, SteelSeries GG, etc.).
4. Lower your mouse DPI.

A good starting point is:

• 100–200 DPI

Experiment until you find a comfortable sensitivity. If your mouse software supports DPI switching, consider assigning a hotkey to change DPI quickly.
