Step-by-step

Task Manager.
Details.
Right click PathOfExileSteam.exe.
Set Affinity.
Untick any 2 cores (if its still crashing, maybe disable another cores).

Important notes

This changes are not persistent, you have to do this everytime the game start.
There are ways to make the game use less cores so you dont have to do this every time, you can find it out there.
