The Tenants – Official FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: When do you plan on releasing the game?

A: Devs plan to release the game in Early Access in Q1 2021.

Q: Do you plan to bring it to consoles?

A: Firstly, devs want to bring The Tenants to PC as Early Access. With the help of the community and their feedback, devs want to keep developing the game and if there will be enough interest in the console version then we’ll bring it to consoles. On top of that, the console version is in the back of our heads and devs develop the game in a way so it will be easier to port it to consoles in the future. For example, devs focus a lot on optimization.

Q: Will there be any DLCs?

A: Devs have a couple of idea for the DLCs but first, devs want to finish the base game and help it leave the Early Access. If you have any ideas for DLCs feel free to share them with us! We’re open to suggestions 😉

Q: Why do you want to release The Tenants in Early Access?

A: The Tenants is a sandbox game with nearly unlimited potential. We, as developers can decide which features are important to implement but only you, our players, can tell us best what else is missing and most important to be added. That’s why devs decided to release the game in EA. Based on your feedback, we’ll keep developing the game until devs decide it’s ready for its full release.

Q: What’s the content of the Early Access version?

A: We’ve implemented all the features devs thought were essential. There will be 2 different districts in the game – the slums and the suburbs. Devs have a few different archetypes of the tenants including gamer, fitness person, influencer and corporation worker but devs plan to expand them till the release of EA. Constantly, devs add new items to the game so it’s as rich as possible.

Q: What are the system requirements to run The Tenants?

A: You can find those on the Steam Store Page as well.

  • OS: Windows 10 64bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 970 / AMD Radeon RX 580
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 4 GB available space

Q: What is your workflow like?

A: We’re working in form of milestones (usually 2 months long) during which devs implement new mechanics, add new items and more. It allows us to be quite flexible with the content of the game so devs can add the most requested features faster.

Q: How much will the game cost?

A: Unfortunately, devs don’t know what the price of The Tenants will be yet. That’s because we’re unsure of its final content, but we’ll make sure to make it affordable!

Q: Who are the developers of The Tenants?

A: The developers of The Tenants are Ancient Forge Studio and the publisher is Frozen District who is the developer of House Flipper. So guys from Ancient Forge Studio develop the game and we, FD give them feedback and devs advise them of what could be improved.
