New World – 100% Achievement Guide (with Tips)

This guide lists all 133 achievements New World has to offer (including those hidden); and presents significant information on acquiring them as you traverse through the lands of Aeternum.

While in reality, achieving 100% completion may not seem attainable – this guide is just a reference point for the many listed achievements; sorted into categories with brief descriptions and their respective unlocked widget/icon.

Achievements

This section lists achievements that are currently bugged or broken and is one to be continually updated with community findings or from the comments down below.

Crafting

Arcana I: Making Potions And Prods
Craft 100 Arcana items.

Arcana is an expansive Crafting skill that covers a very large variety of items including magical weapons such as Fire Staves and Ice Gauntlets, Potions, Weapon Coatings and Tinctures. It is performed at an Arcane Repository which can be found in Settlements. Simply craft 100 Arcana items to unlock this achievement.

Arcana II: A Mastery Over Magic
Craft 6,000 Arcana items.

As above, simply craft 6,000 Arcana items to unlock this achievement.

Armoring I: Patching Parts Together
Craft 100 Armoring items.

Armor in New World are pieces of equipment worn by the player for defense and protective benefits. It can be obtained in a number of ways, through Crafting, found as random loot in chests and containers, as random drops by Enemies and Bosses or as rewards for completing Quests. To unlock this achievement, craft 100 Armoring items at the Settlement.

Armoring II: This Is Amazing Work
Craft 4,000 Armoring items.

As above, simply craft 4,000 Armoring items at the Settlement to unlock this achievement.

Cooking I: Well, It’s No Cheese Sandwich
Craft 100 Cooking items.

Cooking is the Crafting skill focused on creating Food and Dyes by using resources and materials obtained from skills in the Gathering lines. It can be performed at a Kitchen which can be found in Settlements. Craft 100 Cooking items to unlock this achievement.

Cooking II: This Bread Is So Flaky And Buttery!
Craft 8,000 Cooking items.

Engineering I: Tools Of The Trade
Craft 100 Engineering items.

Engineering is the Crafting skill focused on creating Ranged Weapons as well as Gathering Tools. It is performed at a Workshop for ranged weapons and a Forge for melee weapons. Craft 100 of these items to unlock the Tools of The Trade achievement.

Engineering II: An Hourglass With A Garrote Wire?
Craft 4,000 Engineering items.

Furnishing I: Basic, Functional Items For The Home
Craft 25 Furnishing items.

Furnishing is the Crafting skill focused on creating Furniture and Storage Chests. It is performed at a Workshop which can found in Settlements. Craft 25 Furnishing items to unlock this achievement.

Furnishing II: It All Starts With Using Good Wood
Craft 500 Furnishing items.

As above, simply craft 500 Furnishing items to unlock this achievement.

Jewelcrafting I: A Little Crude, But It’s Real Silver
Craft 75 Jewelcrafting items.

Jewelcrafting is the Crafting skill focused on creating Trinkets. Trinkets are jewelry comprised of amulets, rings and earrings which provide a bonus to a player’s attributes. It is performed at an Outfitting Station which can be found in Settlements.

Jewelcrafting II: Crafting The Best In Enhancement Jewelry
Craft 3,000 Jewelcrafting items.

Weaponsmithing I: For Your Cutting And Smashing Needs
Craft 100 Weaponsmithing items.

Weaponsmithing allows for the crafting of Melee Weapons used in close combat such as Swords, Rapiers, War Hammers, Great Axes and Shields. It is performed at a Forge which can be found in Settlements. Craft 100 Weaponsmithing items to unlock this achievement.

Weaponsmithing II: Making The Best Of The Best
Craft 4,000 Weaponsmithing items.

As above, simply craft 4,000 Weaponsmithing items to unlock this achievement.

Just Trying To Keep Things Tidy
Collect 175,000 Gathering type items.

Gathering type items are those that are acquired through Mining, Tracking & Skinning, Fishing, Logging and Harvesting. Achieve a cumulative total of 175,000 gathered items to unlock this achievement

Repairs I: Handy With A Bit Of Tape
Repair 25 inventory items.

Repairing items requires you to have a special resource called “Repair Parts”. The only way to get them is to salvage armor and weapons you don’t really need. Repair 25 inventory items to unlock this achievement.

Refining

Leatherworking I: Of Course It’s Coarse
Refine 500 leather items at the Tannery.

Leatherworking is the Refining process of treating raw animal hides gathered through the Skinning skill to produce Leather which can then be used in a variety of Crafting applications such as creating Weapons and Armor. Refine 500 leather items at the Tannery to unlock this achievement.

Leatherworking II: Imbuing The Leather
Refine 15,000 leather items at the Tannery.

As above, refine 15,000 leather items at the Tannery to unlock the Leatherworking II achievement.

Smelter I: Learning To Stand The Heat
Refine 300 items in Smelters.

Smelting is the Refining process of turning ore into ingots which can then be used to create Weapons, Armor and Ammunition. Refine 300 items in a smelter to unlock this achievement.

Smelter II: Using Dangerous Metals
Refine 14,000 items in Smelters.

As above, craft 14,000 items in Smelters at the Settlement to unlock this achievement.

Stonecutting I: Grasping The Basic Facets
Refine 500 items on Stonecutter Tables.

Stonecutting is the Refining process of turning Raw Gemstones into Cut Gemstones which can then be used to create Trinkets. Refine 14,000 items on Stonecutter Tables to unlock this achievement.

Stonecutting II: Competitive Gemwork
Refine 14,000 items on Stonecutter Tables.

As stated in the description above, refine 14,000 items on Stonecutter Tables to unlock this achievement.

Weaving I: Learning The Warp And The Weft
Refine 250 items with Looms.

Weaving is the Refining process of combining raw cloth fibers gathered through the Harvesting skill to produce Cloth which can then be used in a variety of Crafting applications such as creating Armor. Refine 250 items with Looms to unlock this achievement.

Weaving II: Arachne Approved
Refine 14,000 items with Looms.

As above, refine 14,000 items with Looms to unlock the Weaving II achievement.

Woodworking I: Know My Way Around A Woodshop
Refine 500 items at Woodshops.

Woodworking is the Refining process of turning raw wood gathered through the Logging skill to produce Wood Materials which can then be used in a variety of Crafting applications such as creating Weapons and Furniture. Refine 500 items at Woodshops to unlock this achievement.

Woodworking II: Working With Enchantments
Refine 14,000 items at Woodshops.

Same as above, refine 14,000 items at Woodshops to unlock this achievement.

Teamwork!
Revive 200 allies.

Pretty straightforward, as the description states, revive 200 allies across your journey through the island of Aeternum to unlock this achievement.

Playtime

Time Played I: Time Well Spent
Play for 80 hours.

Time Played II: Just Another 15 Minutes…
Play for 160 hours.

Time Played III: It’s Morning? Already?!!
Play for 320 hours.

Time Played IV: I’ll Sleep Next Week
Play for 720 hours.

House & Faction

House I: First Time Homeowner
Purchase your first home.

Players can purchase and own Housing within Settlements. Houses provide a home for the player that they can fast-travel to, decorate with various furniture created through the Furnishing trade skill, as well as mount trophies that can provide powerful bonuses to the player. Purchase your first house to unlock this achievement.

House II: Houses For All My Stuff
Own 3 houses you can travel between.

As above, purchase and own 3 different houses to unlock the House II achievement.

Covenant Initiate: It Starts
Join the Covenant.

The Covenant is a fanatical order that has charged itself with cleansing the land of heretics and defilers so that its true holy nature can flourish and justice can be restored. Simply join the Covenant to unlock this achievement.

Covenant Adjudicator: An Arm Of The Spark
Reach a Covenant rank of 5.

Faction Missions are special tasks that players can undertake to gain standing with their Faction and generate influence within the controlled Territory or to undermine the influence of an opposing Faction in their Territory. As part of the Covenant, complete factions missions to attain rank 5.

Marauder Soldier: Recognized Prowess
Join the Marauders.

The Marauders are a ruthless military force bent on establishing a free nation where anyone with the strength to do so can prosper and profit. Simply join the Marauders to unlock this achievement.

Marauder Commander: Dealing In Hope
Reach a Marauder rank of 5.

Faction Missions are special tasks that players can undertake to gain standing with their Faction and generate influence within the controlled Territory or to undermine the influence of an opposing Faction in their Territory. As part of the Maurauders, complete factions missions to attain rank 5.

Syndicate Adept: Embracing Science
Join the Syndicate.

The Syndicate is a secretive organization of boundless guile and intellect in search of forbidden knowledge to usher in a new age of enlightenment. Simply join the Syndicate to unlock this achievement.

Syndicate Alchemist: Universal Solvents
Reach a Syndicate rank of 5.

Faction Missions are special tasks that players can undertake to gain standing with their Faction and generate influence within the controlled Territory or to undermine the influence of an opposing Faction in their Territory. As part of the Syndicate, complete factions missions to attain rank 5.

Through The Eye Of A Needle
Reach Bow Mastery level 20.

The Bow is a weapon that excels in ranged combat, possessing quick reload speeds and fast repositioning techniques. Reach Bow Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

Char-Broiling
Reach Fire Staff Mastery level 20.

The Fire Staff is a magical weapon of destructive power excelling in crowd control with its large area of effect spells as well as its sustained damage over time burn effects. Reach Fire Staff Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

Where The Offense Is, Let The Great Axe Fall
Reach Great Axe Mastery level 20.

The Great Axe is a powerful 2-handed weapon that can excel in either powerful, single-target damage or wide, cleaving, area-of-effect attacks that work great for crowd control. Reach Great Axe Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

Toss It, Dice It, Any Way You Slice It
Reach Hatchet Mastery level 20.

The Hatchet is a versatile one-handed weapon that is primarily used to deal damage in close combat. Reach Hatchet Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

A Staff Of Near Immortality
Reach Life Staff Mastery level 20.

The Life Staff is a magical weapon that employs healing and protective magic, as opposed to the destructive powers of the Fire Staff. Reach Life Staff Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

And Now: Shooting Blindfolded!
Reach Musket Mastery level 20.

Muskets are long-ranged weapons that boast superior firepower in exchange for long reload times. Reach Musket Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

With The Blessing Of Horus
Reach Spear Mastery level 20.

The Spear is a melee weapon that boasts superior range without compromising on speed. Reach Spear Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

And Then A Step To the Right
Reach Straight Sword Mastery level 20.

Swords & Shields are unique in that they are both individual pieces of equipment. While the Sword can be used on its own, there is currently no dual-wielding ability in the game, and depriving oneself of the defensive capabilities the Shield offers is an inefficient use of the weapon pair. Reach Straight Sword Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

Inconceivable!
Reach Rapier Mastery level 20.

The Rapier is a light, one-handed melee weapon that specializes in very quick, stylish attacks and rewards skillful play. Reach Rapier Mastery level 20 to unlock this achievement.

The Coldest Steel
Reach Ice Gauntlet Mastery level 20.

The Ice Gauntlet is a magical weapon of destructive power that boasts superior crowd control, utilizing Ice spells with powerful slowing and freezing effects. Reach Mastery level 20 with the Ice Gauntlet to unlock this achievement.

Territory Standing

Brightwood: When Everyone Knows Your Name
Have a Territory Standing of 300.

Standing is a character’s level of reputation for a territory. It is gained by killing enemies, closing Corrupted Breaches, completing Quests, and more. In Brightwood, have a territory standing of 300 to unlock this achievement.

Cutlass Keys: When Everyone Knows Your Name
Have a Territory Standing of 300.

Ebonscale Reach: When Everyone Knows Your Name

Fulfill 50 Faction Missions, any type, anywhere to unlock this achievement.

Faction Missions II: Help Thy Neighbor
Fulfill 200 Faction Missions, any type, anywhere.

Faction Missions III: Adding The ‘I’ Into Team
Fulfill 500 Faction Missions, any type, anywhere.

Faction Missions III: Adding The ‘I’ Into Team
Fulfill 1,000 Faction Missions, any type, anywhere.

Faction Missions V: Don’t Say I’m Not A Team Player

Quests

I Be A Fisherman, I Be
Complete the fishing quest arc that starts with ‘Fishing With Shields’.

This is a progression based achievement attainable through the fishing quest arc that starts with ‘Fishing With Shields’. Simply progress through the different missions of the cluster to unlock this achievement.

Quests I: On A Quest To Do Quests
Complete 100 quests.

Quests in New World are given by NPC’s or obtained through exploration of certain Locations. Quests net your experience points as well as rewards, most of the time some sort of equipment type to help you improve your gear and gold. Completing Quests will allow you to level up and grow stronger, as well as learn about what exactly is going on through the world. Complete 100 quests to unlock this achievement.

Quests II: I Was Totally Expecting A Grail Quest

Player-versus-Player (PvP)

War Wins I: My First Rodeo
Win your first War.

War in New World is a Player-versus-Player (PvP) component of the game that ties into Territorial Control. War is declared and waged between opposing Factions and Companies vying for control of Aeternum’s various Territories. Each side has differing objectives and tasks that will lead them to success in a War campaign. Rush I: One Little Victory
Win your first Outpost Rush teamplay battle.

Outpost Rush in New World is a combination PvP and PvE Game Mode available to players who have attained max level. It consists of teams of 20 players from two competing Factions, fighting for control of fortifications and resources. Outpost Rush is one of the first Endgame activities available to players. Participating in Outpost Rush matches rewards players with exclusive items and powerful equipment as well as gold.

Win your first Outpost Rush teamplay battle to unlock the “One Little Victory” achievement.

Rush II: Finding My Way
Win 25 Outpost Rush teamplay battles.

Rush III: Marathon
Win 100 Outpost Rush teamplay battles.

Player-versus-Environment (PvE)

Invasion I: Invasion Defender
Win your first Invasion.

Invasions in New World are a Player-versus-Environment (PvE) component of the game that ties into Territorial Control. During Invasions, the forces of the Corrupted take the fight directly to player Territories, attempting to lay siege to their Forts. Players will have to mount a defense in order to repel the enemy forces in a battle for survival. Win 10 Invasions.

Breach I: Into The Breach!
Dispel 25 Corruption Breaches.

Corrupted Breaches in New World are a gameplay mechanic tied to Territorial Control. Corrupted Breaches serve as solo and group activities that players can tackle to rid Aeternum of the Corrupted’s influence. Breaches award players with experience points and loot upon completion. Additionally, closing breaches is a great way to gain standing with the controlling Faction, providing a variety of benefits to player activity within.

Dispel 25 Corruption Breaches to unlock this achievement.

Breach II: Quarantine Breach
Dispel 500 Corruption Breaches.

Breach III: Local Renovations
Dispel 5,000 Corruption Breaches.

Quad Squad
Defeat 10,000 Aeternum enemies while in groups.

Defeat a cumulative total of 10,000 Aeternum enemies while in a group to unlock this achievement. Any enemy across the game contributes to progression of this achievement, provided you’re in a group.

Resource Gathering

Harvesting I: I Sickle
Harvest 1,000 items using a harvesting sickle.

Harvesting II: Aeternian Harvester
Harvest 50,000 items using a harvesting sickle.

Logging I: Increased Skill Means Faster Speed
Collect 1,000 wood using a logging axe.

Logging II: Ready For The Logging Festival
Collect 24,000 wood using a logging axe.

Mining I: So Many To Pick
Mine 1,000 items using a mining pick.

Mining II: I Can Smell The Ore, At This Point
Mine 32,000 items using a mining pick.

Tracking & Skinning I: Following The Beaten Path
Get 1,000 items using a skinning knife.
