Wizard101 – How to Transfer Your Old Account to Steam

How to Transfer

  • Step #1: Go to the shortcut for opening Wizard101 on your browser, and right click it, select “properties”, then “open file location”. (The directory location for this file will be “C:ProgramDataKingsIsle EntertainmentWizard101”).

  • Step #2: Copy all of the content in the Wizard101 folder, and then go to “C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonWizard101”, and delete all of the content in that folder. 

  • Step #3: Paste all of the content from “C:ProgramDataKingsIsle EntertainmentWizard101” into “C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonWizard101”, then boot up your game.

  • Step #4: Delete your old shortcut, it will no longer work if you moved everything from one folder to the other. (Then again, I’m assuming that you’re following this guide to use the Steam version, not the standalone client).

If you already have your username saved on the other client’s login window, then it should already be there when you open Wizard101 via Steam. You may enter your password and login, with your account linked to Steam.
