Tip: There are two locations, where you can get side quests – Calypso Island and Pecuny Harbor. You can use Hamilton’s quests in Pecuny Harbor to lose your ‘pirate’ status instead of renaming the ship in smugglers settlements.

How to Make Gold and Conquer All Cities

1. Gold Farming: Always keep a ship parked at a port. Capture a basic ship, bring it to your port, and set it to “Stay in place.” You can switch to this port anytime without traveling, using the “Switch to town” button.
2. Make Money from Ammo: Boost your Armory level and stock up on iron. You spend 216 gold on iron daily and make 300 ammo worth 600 gold. Once you have 20 ports, earning 12k gold daily helps you take over all cities. Remember to visit ports every few days to sell ammo and buy more iron.
3. Conquer Cities: Attack and take over cities one by one. After capturing, upgrade the fort so no one tries to take it back. If you run low on gold, go back to making money with ammo and continue your conquest.
4. Explore Efficiently: Look up the game map online. Use fast ships to find cities quickly. Avoid using a huge fleet; instead, use Captain Edward Teach’s gunpowder barrels to sink enemy ships by trapping them.

Quick Tips:

• Use Captain Samuel Bellamy for ramming ships.
• Skip Captain Charles Vane’s fire barrels, not worth it.
• Capture ships with Captain Bartholomew Roberts and heavy ships. Don’t sink them, you’ll lose money.
• Fastest ship: Concord. Boost speed with Captains Anne Bonny, Mary Read, Sir Henry Morgan, and give rum to the crew.

Making More Money:

• Start producing rum once you’re rich. Level 6 distillery, stock 100 bags of sugar, and earn 18 gold daily.

Travel Smart:

• If you need time to pass for production, travel long distances. Don’t stop for wrecks or blueprints, just capture big ships.

Important:

• Don’t travel via sea without a need. Use the map and “Set Sail” button, especially to escape danger.
• If you’re not exploring new ports, stick to quick map travel to save time and avoid risks.

Don’ts:

• Don’t trade goods like cannons, wood, or cotton between ports. It’s usually not profitable and you’ll lose money. Stick to production for steady income.
