ADACA – Hidden Weapons Guide

There are multiple secret/unique weapons hidden around Adaca! This guide details the location and function of weapons that can be reliably found but not purchased from any Traders.

All Secret Weapons (Where to Find)

All credit goes to Shiva!

Bum Leg

After landing in the dropship, immediately travel East toward a group of trees just past a set of stairs (leading to an empty room where enemies occasionally spawn). Hidden in the trees, there is a mannequin with a Bum Leg.

This is a sawed-off lever-action rifle that functions as a Sidearm. ALT: Bayonet can be used to Sprint-Jump-Melee dash allowing for some silly fast bunny-hopping for which it was named.

Its immediately accessible location and namesake is clearly a special treat for any speedrunners!

Crossbow

Go to The Dish and head Southeast to the paved road leading to the FreeScrapper Outpost. Inside the building labeled “West Adacadian Mining Co.” stack the crates to reach the first platform then climb the chain. Don’t forget to grab the bolts from the mannequin outside and another bolt from the Southwest corner of the intersection below for a total of 12.

Bolts fired from the Crossbow can be recollected and reused!

[Red] Rocket Rifle

In the same area, jump onto the pipes and carefully past the two towers toward the red and white storage tank. When close enough, jump up and quickly Pull (Q) a unique Rocket Rifle from the top of the building.

This is not your grandmother’s ol’ yellow rocket rifle! Despite sharing its name, this red version carries an impressive reserve of 69 additional rockets and has a much larger blast radius!

Do take precaution not to blow yourself up…

Pulsar

Not far from the previous two weapons, follow the road West until it ends at a sheer cliff. There is a single drop pod with a dead cop just in front of it. Apparently, he died upon arrival. Fortunately, he was outlived by a four-round-burst plasma gun! ALT: Plaz Torpedo uses ten rounds at once to launch a single explosive projectile.

Mistake

Travel to Catacombs and follow the markings on the walls to the main tunnel. Head West toward the enclosed stairway closest to Junction 06. Downstairs, at the waterlevel, there is a gun leaned up against the backside of the staircase.

This is an automatic shotgun with a scope and suppressor.

Arc Repeater

In The Pines, travel to the Northeast beach across from the portal island. There is an abandoned drop pod with a laptop and Arc Repeater inside.

This is a fully automatic Arquebus that never overheats!

Flame Thrower

In the caves of The Pines, near the entrance to Blue Caverns, enter the bunker labeled OGR-018. Inside the locker room (the code is found on a nearby terminal) there is a Flame Thrower on the shelf.

This weapon needs no explanation and has a surprisingly large fuel tank!

Target Locator

At Bravo 02, between the two landed aircraft, there is a building next to the bunkhouses. Inside there is a Target Locator on the table.

This is a target designator for the police artillery vehicle across the camp. It summons a barrage of missiles to the selected location and seems to work in multiple zones provided the target is outdoors!

Savlo’s Wrath

In Priory, inside the apartment building used to access the broken bridge (as if going to South Ridge), there is a boarded up doorway on ground level that hides a protruding growth filled with a variety of bladed weapons that failed to cut it down. Among these is a second Bum Leg, a couple Shard Rifles, and a unique variant called Savlo’s Wrath.

This is a fully automatic Shard Rifle!

  1. the last weapon is mistake
This is a silenced, scoped automatic shotgun. Takes automatic shotgun ammo.
Go to Catacombs and follow the signs on the walls to the “main tunnel” – the big tunnel area with two levels. Go down to the lower level with the water and the trash lying around. Now this next part is a bit hard to describe, so bear with me: The main tunnel area has a couple of enclosed stairways which lead from the lower level to the upper level. On the lower level, you can walk into one of the dead-ends of the tunnel, turn around and look at one of these enclosed stairways “from behind”. Mistake is leaning against the enclosure. It’s easy to spot against the white wall. If you’ve found the green blinking geo-marker in the main tunnel area, the dead-end I’m talking about is directly opposite that.

    • Can add
Fusion Cannon. This is a heavy automatic fusion gun with an overheat mechanic and no secondary attack option.
Find BM 061 through the hidden entrance behind warehouse 27 in Junction 06. Follow the hallways in BM 061 until you reach the room where you’re attacked by constantly spawning phantoms. Turn around and climb up one of the ladders on the wall. Then balance along the steel girders across the room to reach a boarded-up door. Destroy the wooden boards to find a red chest (and lots of other goodies). The red chest should have the Fusion Cannon. Note: I found the Fusion Cannon the first time I found the red chest. When I exited the area and entered again (still carrying my Fusion Cannon), the red chest had some other weapon in it. But when I returned later, after I had discarded my Fusion Cannen, it respawned in the red chest. So either this chest just has a good chance of spawning high-level weapons or it spawns the Fusion Cannon only if you don’t already carry one.

  2. the third weapon is crossbow
This is a crossbow with reusable bolts. Takes only bolts as ammo.
Go to The Dish and find the short bit of road that leads from the big radar dish to the small area to the east. Go to the small area to the east and enter the building with the “West Adacadian Mining Co.” sign. Use the clutter in here to climb up the building from the inside. The crossbow can be found on a chest on the “third floor” and there are some bolts on the mannequin opposite the chest.

    • Yepp, especially the MOLLE gear is worth it’s weight in gold, since it DOUBLES ammo carrying capacity, great if you run something like the Laz Sniper ^^

Yeah, i bought a lot more, still some left tho, guess that is the “issue” hope there will be more content with some artifacts around (or just an artifact vault i missed xD), i am a bit of a collector ^^

  3. the second weapon is pulsar
This is a three round burst fire plasma gun with a plasma torpedo (think plasma grenade) as a secondary attack. Non-reloadable, AFAIK.
Go to The Dish and find the short bit of road that leads from the big radar dish to the small area to the east. Follow the road to the west and you’ll come to a cliff with a single drop pod and the corpse of a cop in front of it. That corpse has the Pulsar

  4. first weapon
    Bum Leg
This is a lever-action rifle that goes in weapon slot 1 (handgun slot) and has a bayonet as a secondary attack.
Use the dropship to go down to the Beachhead area. From the landed dropship, walk east until you hit the massive wall enclosing the area in the east. There should be a set of stairs leading down to an empty room and a small area with trees to the right of those stairs. In-between the trees there’s a mannequin with the Bum Leg sticking out of it.

  5. I’ve found a couple of unique weapons in Zone Patrol mode. These guns seem to be either completely unique or they’re unique variants of existing weapons. They can be found at the same spot every time, so they don’t spawn randomly like guns in chests. Also, it seems they respawn whenever you leave the area and enter it again.

  6. The advanced Rocket rifle and Savlo’s wrath are weapons that don’t show up in sandbox mode, which is interesting.

  7. Great guide with very useful screenshots!

I haven’t found any UNIQUE weapons besides the ones on your list, but a user in the forums once mentioned an “Old Rifle (Mosin)”. I haven’t been able to find this weapon anywhere, though. I wonder if it actually exists.

  8. I’m pretty sure Mike once spawned in with a Mosin like rifle, Mike is an interesting companion in that he always has a random weapon after each loading screen, where others have their fixed loadout.
