Introduction

Welcome to Battle Robots…’s guide. While not necessary, I’ll outline how I obtained the achievements, and the best way to speed up earning money. Overall, full completion took me about 0.4 hours, but this includes figuring out how to play the damn thing. So be sure to check out the hints section below to not waste any of your precious time like I did.

Learning to Crawl

First things first, you need to buy a robot from the garage. You don’t need to go 5to the garage right now, but if you want to buy strength or armor, feel free. Make sure to save $950 as this will be crucial to earning money fast.

You’re not bad.

  • Unlocked when I bought Willy from the warehouse.

Now you know how to

  • Unlocked during my first match in arena.

Back in action

  • Unlocked at the start of a second match in arena.

Arena Combat

So you bought your Willie. Time to play with him…

There are three arena’s total scaling from easy (top) to hard (bottom). You can pick whichever you want, but if you held onto $950 you should just enter Black Heart Colliseum as the payout rate for losing is the best of the three and, brother, are you gonna lose for now.

Combat in this game is simple. Your stasts are the top left, opponent’s are top right. You have to wear the bot down through combat until the depreciation score runs out. There’s also a timer at the top of the scrteen, traditionally giving you sixty (60) secondws to attack. To do so, chose one of the three icons on the bottom.

You have become stronger.

  • Buy an upgrade from the garage.

First Blood

  • Unlocked simply from attacking your opponent in your first fight.

Keep fighting in Black Hart and accumulate cash to go into the garage and buy upgrades. For now, focus on strength and armor, always making sure not to overspend so you can keep fighting in Black Heart. Don’t worry about repair for now, as that depletes after every match and is pointless until you bolster the aforementioned skills.

Your first boss

  • I unlocked this by choosing Black Heart Colliseum and competing my first time there. Not sure if this has to do with the opponent you get, so this may not unlock right away.

Getting Over

Continue to upgrade Willie to make him stronger. I found winning Black Heart Colliseum easy when Strength was at 30, Armor 100, and at full Repair. If this isn’t enough for you to win, keep upgrading, or play one of the other two arenas until you win. In doing so, you will start amassing a following and earning fans.

You’re being watched.

  • Win a match and earn any amount of viewers.

Retirement Party

Eventually, you’re going to need to play with more than your Willie. Either when you have enough money to buy a new competitor, or after winning your first match (the former a more optimal option than the latter), head into the Warehouse and buy the next robot up. Rinse and repeat with the section above if you have not unlocked the earlier achievements, and to aid with cleaning up shop.

You have reached

  • Earn enough money to buy Nola.

You can also just keep winning with Willie and save up your money to buy the remaining three bots in one go. One thing to note is when you buy the final one that looks like the Robotic Ghost from Christmas Past (Aquateen Hunger Force), he doesn’t show up that you own him. I wasn’t able to compete either, so wound up rebuying one of the earlier competitors to get the remaining achievement.

Congratulations, you’re growing up.

  • Buy all four robots from the warehouse.

In Conclusion

And there ya go. Now you can stop playing with your Willie and the other Battle Robots. Hope this guide helps you out, and I apologize ahead of time if things unlock differently for you than they did for me as the first few kind of just hqppened and I had to figure out what made them pop in my head. Ah, the joys procedural events…
