Tier Lists Guide
By ArosRising.
It is hard to make accurate Tierlists, since so many things are contextual. Are you playing regular mode or Endless mode? Are you a beginner or an expert? What if a weapon is only good on a single character, like crossbow?
So don’t take these Tierlists too seriously. The Item Tier list is especially hard to judge. Some of the items I’ve put in C-D Tier, but are actually good in certain builds / Situations. For example range items on Hunter, or Items with negative speed on chunky are better than the Item tier list reflects.
Use the Tierlist as a tool to reconsider how you value items. But not as a law you follow.

Situational: Aren’t all items situational? Why is scared sausage situational while Snake and Elemental Damage aren’t? It is because, for most items, it is pretty clear when the items are useful. You use Snake when you’re doing a burn build. And it will perform at around an A Tier item. However, the use case for Scared sausage is situational. You only want it when you’re doing an elemental build where your weapons don’t already apply burns. So items in the situational Tier all have situations where I think they are powerful, but they are hard to use correctly.
