Circadian Dice – How to Use Save Files From the Demo in the Full Game

Guide to Use Save Files From the Demo in the Full Game

How-To

If you have played the Steam demo of Circadian Dice a lot you might want to continue your save from the demo in the full game rather than start over from the beginning. The demo save files are compatible with the full release, but you need to copy them to a new folder. See below for step-by-step instructions!

Note that if you have played an earlier version of the game from itch.io, you don’t have to do anything! Your old save should be picked up automatically when you launch the Steam version.)

  1. Type %localappdata% into your Windows search bar (or type %localappdata% into the address field in a file explorer window) then press enter. Note that the percentage signs should be included even though they look weird.
  2. Find the folder called “Circadian_Dice_Demo”. Copy all the files from that folder into a new folder in %localappdata% named just “Circadian_Dice” (without the quotes). If you have already started the full game at least once, this folder will already exist, so in that case you don’t have to create it.
