Guide to Hero Lineups and Strategies
This guide provides key officer lineups and strategies to help you succeed throughout the season. From early game setups to late-stage power teams, you’ll find everything you need to maximize your resources and dominate the battlefield. Let’s get started on your journey to victory!
Recommended Lineups for Beginners
Considering that there aren’t many officers available for selection and pairing in the early stages of the season, we recommend two lineups consisting of officers that are relatively easy to obtain. To avoid wasting resources on ineffective officers, these officers can be reassigned to resource gathering in the mid to late stages.
Tip: When your primary officer reaches three stars, they can carry a secondary officer, but the secondary officer’s talents will not be effective.
Recommended Lineup 1: Eva Lee + Karina
Lineup Characteristics: This lineup is easy to obtain early on and has gathering talents, allowing a seamless transition to resource-gathering teams later on.
Recommended Lineup 2: Raymon Sharp + Hojas
Lineup Characteristics: This is an excellent combination for attacking spike and lab in the early game.
Officer Selection from Early to Mid-Game
As you enter the mid-season, it is recommended to gradually abandon the officers used in the early stages, avoiding their participation in combat missions. Instead, assign them to gather more resources to upgrade building levels.
During this period, the war zone will hold events like the Commander Showdown, where you can obtain a powerful officer, Albert Einstein. The higher you rank, the more officer dossiers you will receive. Collecting 10 dossiers will unlock this officer.
Tip: To achieve a good ranking in the Commander Championship, it is advisable to stockpile sufficient resources and speed-up items before the event to offset battle losses.
Recommended Lineup 1: Albert Einstein + Eugene Lin
Lineup Characteristics: This is an excellent infantry team for the mid-game, suitable for various PvP scenarios.
If you need to attack labs and spikes, it is recommended to prioritize tank teams, which can achieve rapid building capture with shorter time and higher damage. For officers, we recommend Tanya, available through the VIP Pack, and Natasha Volkova, obtainable from the Daily Pack.
Recommended Lineup 2: Tanya + Natasha Volkova
Lineup Characteristics: This high-attack lineup works wonders when attacking checkpoints and is relatively easy to obtain.
The above-mentioned lineups are common ones. It is important to note that in C&C Legions, units have mutual countermeasures: Infantry counters Tanks, Tanks counter Artillery, and Artillery counter Infantry. Although Artillery officers are few, they can effectively counter mainstream infantry lineups, so we recommend a powerful Artillery lineup.
Recommended Lineup 3: Umagon + Gareth
Lineup Characteristics: Easy to obtain and develop, this lineup effectively counters mainstream infantry teams.
Lineup Selection in the Late Game
In the late stages of the season, most players will have acquired the majority of officers, offering more lineup options. However, there are several universally recognized powerful lineup combinations:
Recommended Lineup 1: Albert Einstein + Yuri
Lineup Characteristics: Yuri can be obtained through the mid-game roulette event. This lineup features both shields and healing, making it possible to take on multiple enemies in battles after deep development.
Recommended Lineup 2: Tanya + Boris
Lineup Characteristics: This is the strongest tank lineup with extremely high output. The difficulty in building this lineup lies in the fact that Boris can only be obtained through VIP packs of level 10 and above.
Recommended Lineup 3: Ethan Blackwood + Umagon
Lineup Characteristics: The nemesis of infantry teams, capable of dealing massive area damage, making it ideal for attacking grouped teams.
Additional Tip: When a officer reaches three stars, they can lead a secondary officer. However, many players don’t know how to change the deployed officers. Simply click on the avatar of a deployed officer to remove them, and the same method applies to secondary officers.
