Counter-Strike 2 – Important Console Commands

Since Counter-Strike 2 is out and its a new game and most of y’all won’t know the basic but important commands, I decided to make a guide and help.

Best Launch Options

• -novid // Skips the launch video.
• -fullscreen // Boots the game in fullscreen mode
• +fps_max 0 // Unlocks the CS2 frame rate even in menus.
• +cl_force­preload // Pre-loads essential game files for smoother performance

Useful Console Commands

• cq_netgraph 1 // Netgraph shows in-game latency in a display on the top right corner of the screen.
• cl_showfps 1 // Showcases the real-time FPS under the map on the left.
• fps_max [X] // Put any value instead of x to limit fps to that. 0 for unlimited
• bind [action] [key] // This command comes in handy for players who want to quickly bind a certain key to a particular action.
• +cl_show_team_equipment // This command will show weapons and utilities above your teammates’ in-game models.
• disconnect // This command lets you quickly disconnect from an ongoing game.
• quit // You can quit your game directly without using any additional buttons by using this console command.

Communication & Audio Commands

• voice_modenable // Completely enable or disable the voice chat feature in-game.
• voice_scale [X] // Use this command with a value between 0-1 to adjust your teammate’s in-game voice chat volume.
• volume // Enter this command with a value after it to adjust the master volume of the game.
• snd_voipvolume // Replacing the the voice scale command, you can alter the volume of your teammates voice chat using snd_voipvolume. This is a scaleable command, meaning you can increase or decrease the number at the end of the command, from 0-1.
• voice_mute / voice_unmute [Player Name] // Mute or unmute a specific player in the game using this command. You can also mute everyone on the server using “all” text in place of the player’s name.

Practice Commands

• sv_cheats 1 // In order to use some commands
• noclip // Helps you roam around the map like a ghost. You can even go through walls
• sv_infinite_ammo 1 // In a practice competitive map, you can select infinite ammo from the left side of the menu. But if you want it faster, this will give you unlimited ammo and grenades.
• kill // Kills your character instantly.
• god // You become a god, immune to bullets and everything
• bot_add_ct / bot_add_t // Add bots in your team or enemy team
• bot_kick // Kicks bots
• launch_warmup_map [Map Name] // Launch a specific map in warmup/ practice mode.
• mp_restartgame 1 // Restarts the game.
