Quick Guide to GodSpeed Builds
As the name implies, these builds will give any wizard the speed of the gods to tackle Bounties, Contracts, Elder Rifts, or Open World Farming, either solo or with a full group of speed runners.

These builds can be run with as low as 675 Resonance and achieve a one-touch, one-kill result. Gameplay can be found below, Inferno 4/675 resonance.
Now, let’s get into the builds and what we need to get started:
- These builds are based on DOT, meaning damage over time. We mark monsters with DOT and leave them behind to die, explaining why it is named ‘1 touch 1 kill’ with Godspeed.
- So, we will require at least Everlasting/Viper Bite or Viper/Seeping Bile, to mark monsters with DOT.
To enhance the damage of harmful effects from those gems, we can add Pain Clash, Eye of the Unyielding, and Berserker Eye to increase the flat damage. All these gems are easy to acquire for Free-to-Play players, either from farming hidden lairs for normal gems and selling them on the market or selling pets/familiars on the market for platinum.
Now that the gems are out of the way, this build requires two very important Legendary/Modifier Essences:
- Helm for Slow-Time Ephemeral Visage. It will increase the tick rate of those harmful effects from our gems by 80%, which is why this is very important in this build.
- Sprightsark, the chest piece for Lightning Nova, that gives us a flat 50% movement speed.
Even though all essences are important, these two will be the highlight of this build:
- Now, as for the set pieces, we can use 2pc Banquet, which will increase the damage of harmful effects like Poison/Bleed/Fire by 15%. Once the enemie under these effects, they take increase damage from all sources.
- 4pc Grace of the Flagellant. Since we will be leaving monsters with a lot of DOT hits and increasing the tick rate of those DOT and increasing its damage by gems and set pieces, the 4pc on the top will add an additional hit on monsters, which will be very strong and will trigger very often, killing everything that you leave behind.
- For the last 2pc, we are going to use Vithus Urges to extend the duration of our buff skills, like Lightning Nova, Arcane Torrent, Slow-Time.
Important Stats to Get the Builds Online
All the stats that I will mention here can be acquired without spending a penny; you will only have to spend your time grinding the game.
- Look for Fortitude/Intelligence on your main and secondary gear. It will help you in PVE and even PVP. If you are thinking our builds are based on harmful effects and need potency for that, that is true, but no need to worry about it since we have the Slow-Time Helm that can increase the tick rate of harmful effects by 80%. Now, that does not mean you can’t try to gain more potency, but keep in mind, it’s expensive.
- Have at least 20% Crit Chance. This can be found on Orange Legendary pieces: Helm/Shoulder/Weapons/Off-Hands.
- This one will take time but is totally worth it once you acquire it. Have 75% Beneficial Effects Duration Increase. This can be achieved from having sets like Vithus and Reforge Bonus on all your gear pieces. Reforge stones can be farmed from doing PVP; it will be painful but worth it. It can also be found on Chest/Legs and some secondary gear. This will extend the duration of all our buff skills.
- Small but can be very important. Have 5-6% Skill cooldown on Secondary Gear. It can be found on Rings but will, again, take grinding and luck.
Before I go, once you achieve your desired result and want more movement speed, there is a way to increase the movement speed even more, and that is by increasing our character size.
- The first option is available at the warband. You can go to Room Management and pick a Protector Room with 5% Block, and make sure that your warband has the Remnant “Shepard’s Burden.” It increases the size by 15% and gives 6.5% Life. This size increase is equivalent to almost a 15% Movement Speed increase.
- The second source of size increase right now is Warden Paragon Tree. It can increase the size of our character by another 8%, and both sources do stack.
- Lastly Blood Soaked Jade, for 10% Movement Speed.
I sincerely hope this was helpful. Good luck to you!
