Hello Elders! Since the Christmas Challenge can be quite harsh for new players, here is a thread with some tips. The North is an unforgiving place!

Snow gives -1 to all production, so make sure you get rid of it fast. The Helpers have a way to do that… take a look at your starting buildings and tasks!
The Elf Clearing can be used to remove Wood and Stone tiles. Use that to your advantage!
In the harsh North, there is no Summer. Spring is followed by Autumn, then Winter, then Autumn and Winter again!
The game lasts 100 turns only, and seasons are shorter. This makes things harder, but also allows you to focus more on the task at hand without having to think for the end game.
There is no doom event, so events are not your main issue. Make sure you produce enough Gifts to fulfill the quota!
The Snowplow action can be a good way to gather a lot of water, if you keep getting hit by Snow!
