Guide to DLSS Frame Generation Mod
Intro
Hey everyone! So, with the new Dragon’s Dogma 2 dropping, I was expecting some rough performance patches. But man, it’s been brutal out there. So, I went hunting for mods and tweaks to buff up the game’s performance. And guess what? I stumbled upon a gem—a mod that unlocks a hidden feature buried deep in the game’s code: DLSS Frame Generation.
Before we dive in, let me paint the picture. Without the mod, my RTX 4060 was coughing up a measly 15-25 FPS. But with this bad boy installed? Bam! Now I’m cruising between 55-85 FPS, even with Ray Tracing on.
Warnings
Listen up, this is crucial. Mods can be the game’s best friend or its worst enemy. There’s always a risk they’ll send your game into a tailspin. Also, brace yourself for some funky artifacts—blurry visuals, missing details, you name it. That’s just how DLSS Frame Generation rolls.
Installation
Getting this mod up and running is a walk in the park:
- Snag the mod from Nexus.
- Unzip the file wherever suits you.
- Time to do some Steam sleuthing. Head to Library > Dragon’s Dogma 2 > Right-click > Manage > Browse Local Files.
- Safety first! Back up the “sl.interposer.dll” file and stash it somewhere safe. You’ll thank me later if things go south or when updates hit.
- Now, take that mod you downloaded and plonk it right into the Dragon’s Dogma 2 folder.
- Launch the game and slide over to the settings. Toggle on “DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION” and “DLSS Low Latency Reflex.”
- Load up your save, hit that END key, and you’re golden.
Boom! You’re all set, and the mod’s snug as a bug in your game.
