This guide will help you to delete the Dragon’s Dogma 2 game save files or use your old saves.

The saves are here:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\yourid#\2054970\remote\

Do this steps:

  • Delete the entire folder associated with the game.
  • Disable Steam Cloud synchronization for the game.
  • Launch the game and create a new character.
  • Enable Steam Cloud synchronization again.
  • Upon quitting the game, you’ll be prompted to choose between using the cloud save or a local save.
  • Select “local,” and it will overwrite the old cloud save with the new one.

  1. that’s the neat part, you don’t. They deliberately save your character in a Database. You have to find the item or buy it for 2$…

    • That doesnt seem accurate
      I just found how to delete the save slot but man was it not fun. Had to go into userdata and find the games id and everything. Dont understand why they didnt have it in the menu like the first game

      • yea i think i rode on a false information.. It’s more about your steam cloud overwriting your local changes. You have to indeed go fiddle in your files to try to restart a save.
