Far Cry 6 – How to Transfer Save File Between Platforms

Without using any painful file management, but requires installs of Far Cry 6 on both platforms you’re transferring across.

Step 1

• First, open Far Cry 6 on the platform you wish to transfer FROM (typically Ubisoft Connect).
• After that, click the “SELECT SAVE GAME” button from the main menu.
• Then, you’ll want to click the “upload cloud save” button on the save you want to transfer (shown in image).

Step 2

• Now that your save has been uploaded, open Far Cry 6 on the platform you want to transfer your save TO (Typically Steam).
• After that, click the “SELECT SAVE GAME” button from the main menu.
• Then, you’ll want to click the “download cloud save” button on the save you want to transfer (shown in image).
• Other somewhat important information.
• This method may not work if you haven’t linked your Steam account to your Ubisoft account, but i have done this and it also transferred all my DLC (purchased on Ubisoft Connect), “Far Cry Credits”(and purchases that used them) and Ubisoft’s “Units” currency (also including purchases).
