Install glass floor in your controller area so you can see when landing and don’t damage your ship from a hard landing I did my entire ship floor in glass. Put the radar on the front glass above your head so while flying you just look up to see it.
I move from Greenhouse to Greenhouse and land on lower pad (my ship is huge and maxed out). Couple of reasons…
Lower pad to avoid lighting 1 pad seems a little lower than the other one
Lots of glass
Plenty of materials to make bio-fuel
Lots of water
You have lots of supplies to craft a lot of stuff. Poly, Plant oil, Plants, etc
Landing pad is huge! Great for expanding or working on your ship
Upgrade your engines ASAP.
Get on Bio Fuel ASAP
Use the basic fishing lure. It’s cheap to make the other ones are too expensive and not worth making.
Turn off your engines if you plan to stay at 1 location for a long period of time.
Get the freezer ASAP to store your food in.
Make 2 water filters
Get the large bottle. Also get the little self purifying bottle I take it with me. You can move dirty water to if from another bottle in your inventory just drag and drop.
Follow the story line. Trust me you want the hand held extractor ASAP it’s a game changer. It does drain really fast so built 2.
