Guide to Endless Mode Strategies and Builds

Outline

Now that most of the characters can consistently score over 6 million points in Stage 1 and over 4 million points in Stage 3, I will try to write a common build for all characters in endless mode. There may be other optimal solutions for each character, and there may be an element of luck with super items, but for now, here is a build that is common to all characters and stable without super items.

Snow Queen Build

Build to survive longer by taking advantage of the Snow Queen ability to freeze.

Recommended characters

All

This is a build that freezes the Yagoo and runs away anyway. With this build, the goal is to survive as long as possible and score as many points as possible, since the 20-30 minute section is not very killable, and once more Yagoo appear, they are almost impossible to kill. In Stage 1, the goal is to survive for 45 minutes or more.

Weapons

  • Snow Queen: wide range of freezing effects.
  • Dragon Fire: main DPS.
  • Absolute Wall: knockback allows for a safe zone.
  • Rap Dog: take 20% more damage debuff is excellent.
  • The remaining one slot is for a weapon of your choice.

Stamps

  • Slow Stamp: slow effect is useful.
  • Pacifist Stamp: excellent stun effect.
  • Life Steal Stamp: Full Meal effect allows for a lot of recovery.

Items

  • Halu: required to increase the number of kills.
  • Study Glasses: required to increase EXP and DPS.
  • Researcher’s Coat: assist in EXP earning.
  • Full Meal: powerful double recovery effect.
  • Body Pillow: Full Meal effects double the amount of recovery.
  • Breastplate: 25% reduction taken damage.

Cooking

  • Pufferfish Meal Set

Tips

Ideally, when leveling up, prioritize movement speed > HP. offensive stats have low priority. If you don’t have enough DPS, it will be difficult to earn EXP, so use a Researcher’s Coat to deal with it. After the appearance of the Yagoo, run away from the Yagoo and recover HP with Body Pillow. If you feel you don’t have enough DPS, save getting Halu until later in the game.

Holy Fire Build

Builds that take advantage of Holy Fire and critical damage to increase the number of defeats and score.

Recommended Characters

Characters with high firepower in their main weapon (e.g. AZKi) or with many skills that increase attack performance (e.g. Watson).

This build aims to increase kills and score by doing 20-30 minute segments at high DPS. Survival time is targeted at 35+ minutes in stage 1, but it is a bit difficult. Basically, you must not be hit by bullets, so character control is important. Also, DPS depends on the performance of the main weapon.

Weapons

  • Holy Fire: powerful main DPS.
  • Frozen Sea: wide range of slow effects.
  • Absolute Wall: knockback allows for a safe zone.
  • Rap Dog: take 20% more damage debuff is excellent.
  • The remaining one slot is for a weapon of your choice.

Stamps

  • Bomb Stamp: high DPS against many enemies.
  • Pacifist Stamp: excellent stun effect.
  • Life Steal Stamp: Full Meal effect allows for a lot of recovery.

Items

  • Halu: required to increase the number of kills.
  • Study Glasses: required to increase EXP and DPS.
  • Full Meal: powerful double recovery effect.
  • Hope Soda: increased Critical Damage.
  • Focus Shades (If the main weapon is a ranged type): increase Critical chance.
  • GWS Pill (If the main weapon is a melee type): increase Critical chance.

Cooking

  • Pufferfish Meal Set

Tips

The status at level up should be adjusted so that the sum of base status, skills and items is 100% CRT. After that, it is acquired in the priority order of Movement Speed > Haste > HP > ATK.

Other Notes

Halu, Study Glasses, and Researcher’s Court need to adjust the timing of their levels according to the difficulty of the stage and the player’s DPS. Otherwise, the DPS will be insufficient and the player will not be able to survive until 30 minutes.
