Problem: Cant choose one of the Workshop characters or cant load into maps.

KoboldKare loads the character that is more closer to the top in the Mod configuration list but you also need to have the default Kobold character and Sp1keyDick enabled for Maps to load and work (Especially on Multiplayer).

To fix this:

  1. Enable the mod that you want in the modding menu from the main menu.
  2. Make sure it is disabled in the Options/Mod configurations (And make sure Kobold character is enabled).
  3. Load a singleplayer map.
  4. Exit the map.
  5. The disclaimer will pop up click accept and then close the game.
  6. Open the game and activate the mod (If you are going to host a MP session activate all of the character and D1ck mods that you have, then enable only the D1cks, the Default Kobold and your Custom Character on the Mod configurations list).
  7. If you did it correctly Kobold character should appear as the lowest character in the mod configuration list and because of that you can play and use any custom character.

Problem: Cant load into MP session.

The game does not let you enter a MP session if you have disabled the Default Kobold and Defauly PP (SpikeyD1ck).

Fix: In the Mod configurations list enable the Kobold and Sp1keyDick, if you cant select your custom character see issue 1.

Problem: How to Setup correctly a MP Session (Players have no modded characters or D1cks).

The game does not load any mods that you installed if the Host does not have them.

Fix: After choosing your PP and your custom character enable all PP mods and character mods that you have (But only enable the D1cks that are on the Mod configurations).

Extra: to enable cheats use /cheats 1 and /help for other commands.

Problem: My character does not work in some or all available MP Sessions.

Only Host mods are loaded and installed in the MP sessions.

  • Fix: Ask the guy hosting to load the mods or point it towars this guide.
  • Other fix: Host your own MP session.
  • Better fix: Ask developer to implement a in game character loading system for MP Sessions (Just dont be annoying to the developer please).

  1. Another interesting fix I’ve seen relating to Multiplayer is that if you see a bunch of kobolds at spawn in the same spot then spraying them with the watering bucket can resync their positions. This can fix instances of players and NPC kobolds not being shown or synced correctly.
