Noita – The Short Hop Fish Swap Wand Guide

Digging? Where we’re going we don’t need digging…

The Short Hop Fish Swap Wand

This is the “engine” of a travel wand, it works as-is to move you around, but you’ll probably want to add healing/liquid deletion/etc. Complete versions to come later…

Timing sensitive – the short tele needs to be cast at least once every 5 frames – I have found a cast delay of ~2-3 frames works nicely.

Features

Reliable – teleports you first time, every time.

Fish-friendly – Each fish is painlessly euthanized using Nolla, for a cruelty-minimal travel experience. Added benefit: no fish guts scattered across the landscape.

Cheap – Requires no Divide By or Blood Magic. Can be made without Add Trigger (which is only on there to save 250 mana). Spell piercing shot is used only to enable friendly fire. Note f can be substituted for any non-damaging payload. Remove explosion is also optional.

Adjustable – Hop length can be adjusted from the length of your wand up to a screen or more at a time using lifetime modifiers (Try spell nolla, spell long distance cast for shorter hops). Can also be combined with Black or White Holes to make it go even faster through the ground.

Combat advantage – Need to hide? Just teleport into the nearest wall – perfect cover to snipe enemies via spell long distance cast, or take the pacifist path and swap them into the wall.

Fast – Swapper alone can’t propel you to supersonic zoomy-fast teleport speeds, so this uses a hybrid of Swapper & Short-Tele.
