What Tasks to Prioritize

I’ve done some testing about how the pals decides what tasks to prioritize, this post has my current findings.

Sharing this since i saw a lot of misunderstanding, “goes by highest skill”, “pals only care about distance”, etc…

I don’t claim this list to be complete, there is several exceptions (Two similar tasks that have different priorities) and there might be more that I missed.

How It Works:

It goes by order. If two of the same tier tasks exist, it goes by how far it is from the pal.

1. Sleeping
2. Eating (at 50% of the hunger bar, they eat a single food item, not to 100%. More filling food means less trips to eat.)
3. Building (Handiwork)
4. Ranch (Farming)
5. Generating Electricity
6. Harvesting Crops (Gathering)
7. Transporting From Crop Fields (Transporting)
8. Planting & Watering (Can’t Test Against Each Other)
9. Stone Pit & Logging Site (Mining & Lumbering)
10. Refining > Kindling > Cooking (Kindling)
11. Crafting (Handiwork)
12. Medicine Production
13. Gathering Random Stuff (Rocks, Berries, Etc…) (Transporting)
14. Mining & Lumbering (Natural Spawns)
15. Hauling (Transporting)
16. Cooling
