Shinies

Yes, there are shinies in the game. Currently shinies do not seem to give any additional bonuses other than being an alternative color of the character.

If you find a shiny, you are guaranteed to get the character as a drop. Here is an example of what shinies will look like in your character box and character status screen.

Investigations

There are 3 outcomes for investigations, Excellent, Great, and Good. Each outcome will effect which clues you may find at the end of each investigation stage.

There are also different stats which may affect chances/rates during investigations.

Wisdom can affect the amount of investigation points you receive during the stage which increases your chance of getting Excellent, while Luck can increase the chances that you may find a shiny creature during the stage. Due to this, you want to focus on either Wisdom or Luck as a Leader Skill, but both in 1 Leader Skill would be better in some cases, but not always.

Useful Characters

There are many useful characters. However these are some of the units which I have been able to use and have seen success in Investigations.

• Joan of Arc – Very good Attack buffs/Restore HP, and able to cleanse a debuff off allies.

• Emperor Qin – Good AoE DPS for clearing lots of enemies with pretty good damage vs boss.

• Daji – Great Area skill that silences enemies, especially good against specific enemies/bosses.

• Lady Snow – Very nice Area DoT skill (Damage over time) that also reduces enemies Defense.

• Zhuge Liang – Amazing Attack buffs for allies and Defense Debuffs for enemies.

• Samurai – Generally good for moving around with skill. Does decent Area damage to enemies.

• Fulfilled One – Mainly used for its Leader skill to Boost Wisdom and Luck at the same time.

Team Composition

For Investigations, you want as many units as possible to make use of the Leader skill. Specifically ones that boost Luck, Wisdom, or Both at the same time. Fire generally has the most options, so it is preferred to build towards that early on.

Leaders that Boost Wisdom / Luck and have 5 Character slots on the team.

• Zhuge Liang – 30% Wisdom to same type allies.

• Fulfilled One – 10% Wisdom, 15% Luck to same type allies.

• Eir – 20% Defense, 10% Luck to same type allies.

• Amber – 30% Luck to same type allies.

• Cleopatra – 20% HP, 10% Luck to same type allies.

• Amphitrite – 15% Speed, 15% Luck to same type allies.

• Jack – 25% Speed, 5% Luck to same type allies.

• Snow White -15% HP, 15% Wisdom to same type allies.

• Mary – 15% Def, 15% Luck to same type allies.

• Chocolat Ganache – 15% Wisdom, 15% Luck to same type allies.

• Criollo – 20% Defense, 10% Luck to same type allies.

• Ruby – 20% Defense, 10% Wisdom to same type allies.

• Ieyasu Tokugawa – 15% HP, 15% Wisdom to same type allies.

• Daji – 15% Attack, 5% Wisdom to same type allies.

Clues

Clues are what you find after each investigation stage. Clues can alter what you find during future investigations that branch off of each other.

Illusive footprints: Shiny character obtain chance up & creatures power up.

• Requirements to find: 50 or more Combo count.

Many footprints: More creatures & obtain chance up.

• Requirements to find: None.

Trace of mass outbreak: Mass Outbreak Map become easier to find.

• Requirements to find: Great investigation

Golden shining path: Creatures power up & high rarity items obtain chance up

• Requirements to find: Investigation completed quickly

Trace of gold nugget: Gold Nugget Map become easier to find

• Requirements to find: Great investigation.

Path of the strong: Creatures power up & high rarity characters obtain chance up.

• Requirements to find: Quickly defeated the BOSS.

Scent of money: Getting more coins & More creatures.

• Requirements to find: None.

Sharp claw marks: Creatures power up & obtain chance up.

• Requirements to find: None.

Scent of danger: High rarity characters & items obtain chance up.

• Requirements to find: Excellent investigation. The depths investigation succeeded.

Territory trace: Territory Map become easier to find.

• Requirements to find: Great investigation.

Trace of the treasure box: Treasure Box Map become easier to find.

• Requirements to find: Great investigation.

Mysterious pattern: Mysterious ruins become easier to find.

• Requirements to find: 1000 or more investigation pts.

Feeling of strength ahead: Training materials become easier to find.

• Requirements to find: None.

Sound of forging: Hammers become easier to find.
