Wanna play co-op with a friend? Use Remote Play Together! Your friends don’t even need the game, only you.
How Do I Use Remote Play Together?
For that, each one of you will need to be on different inputs. That means: Keyboard + Controller, Controller + Controller 2, and so on.
How to Setup:
- Launch the game.
- Select your character by pressing any button.
- Press Shift+Tab to open your friends list.
- Right click and select Remote Play Together.
- Wait for them to connect. Once they’re connected you should get a notification
Steam will auto detect if your friend has a controller and it will asign a controller number to them. You can also drag and drop a controller from the bottom to asign one. You can also toggle the keyboard and mouse, so you give access them access to your keyboard and mouse just in case that you have a controller and not your friend!
- Shift+Tab to go back to the game screen.
- Wait for your friend to press any button.
- Have fun!
