Tara (and Battle Bag) Tips & Tricks from The Tara Simp
Everyone wants more bang for their buck. Here are some unconventional methods to get them.
Track Tara’s Visit Hours (Respectfully)
Tara visits every 12 hours from the time you meet her at the plaza. However, you do not have to worry that she’ll disappear. After the 12 hour timer hits, she’ll be there when you first open the game. It doesn’t matter if you opened an hour or a day later than the time she’s available. She’ll be there. Waiting. But this gives you the perfect time to:
Save Chest Tickets
There are 4 sources of chest tickets. The natural 3 hour regen, Gem Pass, Piñata, and Portal Levels. Do not collect the last 3 unless Tara is in your plaza. Bonus points for saving up a chest doubler.
4 Ticket Capacity
Believe it or not, you can save 1 extra Chest Ticket exceeding the 3 Ticket Capacity. It’s quite simple: Finish a match with an active Chest Ticket, but do not open the chest. Quit the game. Close via multitasking, power off, but do not open the chest. This is saved until you reopen the game later and counts as a chest opened when Tara is active. This perfectly fits the 12 hour chest ticket regen cycle for 4 tickets and Tara that you just might get a 4 card quest complete without spending a single penny.
- But save chest tickets may lead to the risk that we can lose the streak in the 1st ticket, so reduce the value of remaining ticket…
Which is why now you use battle bag items for ticket matches to reduce that chance, since these matches are that important. This is how you utilize everything in your arsenal for maximum value.
For most matches, you can use an epic key for the first minute, then a fusion key at the second. This practically gives you the highest fighting chance.
But this varies depending on the modifiers, so here are on my opinion the best keys to use within certain mods.
Chest Key = C, Epic Key = E, Fusion Key = F
- Epic Overload: Just don’t use a F at the start, every other key is viable (Epic keys guarantees 3 Epics in your Chest that you can draft)
- Turbo Overload: C/E, F (Look for any Speedsters)
- Spell Overload: E, F
- Gem Overload:
- If No Trader: E, F
- If Has Trader: F (for Trader)
- Double Trouble:
- If need more Commons &/ Rares: 3Cs
- If drafted epic without key or Squad can utilize ability: 2Es, 1C/F
- Loot Goblin Rush:
- If has units that can stun: C, F (You’ve practically won)
- If needs units that can stun: E (BarKing / ArQueen), F
- Piñata Party:
- If rushing center: F
- If not / no center piñata: E, F
- Tree Giants: E, F regardless of playstyle
- Fusion Start: E, F
- Doppelgangers: 2Cs, 1F
- Angry Vines:
- If needs survival NOW: F
- If can survive for 1 extra minute: E, F
- Whack-A-Mole: Just don’t pick F at start, and pick Melee units if you can, if you’re using Es, pick BK
- Royal Ghosts: Same as W-A-M but all ranged
- Chest Impostors: E, F
- Super Gem Mine: C, F (Same as Turbo Overload but collect gems from center or chase down Squads)
- Mega Start: E, F (Choose the Epic that boosts your Mega)
- Golden Boots: E, F
- Ring Grab: Same as Turbo Overload
- Monster Pets: E, F
- Loot Surge: Same as Turbo Overload but for loot
- Baby Battle: E, F (Do not pick ineffective commons)
- Super Ice Spirits: E, F
- Golem Meteors: E, F
- 1-Coin Chests: 2Es, 1C
- Gem Hot Pot: Same as Turbo Overload
I hope this was helpful to you!
