Space Basics
Threats in Space
Each mission in Campaign Mode, and each map in Challenge / Endless mode takes you to a different area. The following stats will tell you how peaceful or dangerous this area is.
Starting Hate
The higher hate you face, the more enemies (both in volumen and variety) you get at the start of your mission. Hate growth with each overkill, so longer you stay on map the fiercer enemies become.
Gas Clouds
Gas clouds block your visibility and make it difficult for you to spot enemies in them.
Asteroid Density
The space is full of asteroids. Go around them, shoot them, or use tractor beam to yield them into your weapons.
Ion Storms
Ion storms are blue-ish circled areas with ion discharge. Ion clouds stun enemies and overcharges your ship when within, but beware not to overload.
- Overcharge: Increases overall fire rate up to 3x.
- Overload: When the Overcharge meter maxes out, the ship will take damage.
Rewards for the Brave
According to the law of consevation of energy… You kill something, you get somehthing. Other than the usual gem pickup, there are some surprises that you don’t want to miss!
Experience
The green little dots dropped by enemies you kill. The level-up bar at the bottom of the screen tells you how many gems you need to upgrade to the next level.
Credit
The yellow diamond-shape gems dropped by asteroids when hit.
Blue Orb
Dropped by destroyed asteroids sometimes. When your ship makes contact with the blue orb, it will trigger an extra upgrade screen for you to choose upgrades from. (Your experience points won’t be affected)
Green Orb
Dropped by destroyed asteroids sometimes. When your ship makes contact with the green orb, you will collect all experience points in the area.
Astro Chicken
Dropped by destroyed asteroids sometimes. When your ship makes contact with the astro chicken, you heal 1 HP.
Special Installations
Hatchery
The hatchery spawns new enemy drones and it won’t stop until you destroy it once and for all.
Station
Hover above a station to absorb its credits. When you deplete the station, you will get an extra upgrade screen. (Your experience points won’t be affected).
Credits Guide
Better to be sad and rich, than happy and poor. Yet, reasonable investments make everyone happy!
How to Get
- Shooting Asteroids — Usually big ones give more than their broken pieces.
- Mining Stations — Hover over them to see them light up and start dropping credits.
Where to Spend – in Game Modes
- Level up Reward re-rolls. Initially cost 0, but price increase with each next re-roll.
- Campaign Boss Reward re-roll — cost 1000 for the 1st re-roll.
- Shops in Campaign — price depens on progress. So prices in shop closer to the beginning are cheaper than those shops that are closer to the boss. Re-rolls cost credits and only re-roll options you haven’t bought (if you bought 1 card, next re-roll won’t re-open it).
- Upgrade Stations in Campaign — cost increases with each re-rolls. Cost also increases with progression (Like Shops).
Where to Spend – in Library
- Discover Cards in Library. Gives you 3 cards to choose 1 from. Each following gacha costs more. But you can always play Challenge and Endless to unlock more cards.
- Upgrade for the deck — upgrades card for the exact deck. Its cost is refunded if you delete the card from the deck.
Where to Spend – Ships
After choosing mode, you will see the starship choice page. Buying ships cost credits, and each following one costs more. So, the 1st one is as much as 1k, but the last one is 16k.
Limitations
Campaign, Challenge, and Endless only use credits earned in the run, and not get into your total credit bank. The credits left after each run go to your general bank to spend on cards and ships.
Game Modes
Campaign Mode
Choose a ship to enter a campaign. Each campaign map is randomly generated. You will encounter different missions, upgrade stations, and merchant outposts before you face one of 3 bosses. Different missions set you different goals, for example, kill X enemies, survive for X seconds, or destroy X asteroids. In upgrade stations, you could spend credit to upgrade cards in your deck. Merchant outposts have new cards in store for you. The reward for the Campaing is upgraded card of your choice, that will be permenantly upgraded for the whol game.
Challenge Mode
Choose a map and kill your way to the boss. All card drops will be coming from your selected deck in the ‘Deck Builder’.
Endless Mode
Well you know the drill. Survive for as long as you could! All card drops will be coming from your selected deck in the ‘Deck Builder’.
