All the three Jump Gate lights have their own meaning.
Jump Gate Lights
Top light
Lights yellow when you are at appropriate distance. If it’s not lighting up, you’re either too far or too close.
Middle light
Lights yellow when you are at appropriate position and centered. If it’s not lighting up, you’re too off-center or at bad angle.
Bottom light
Lights yellow when you are stopped. If it’s not lighting up, you still have some momentum.
When you meet all the criteria and all three lights are yellow, then the gate starts activating and the lights change the color to green in the sort of countdown. When all three lights are green, you can pull the jump lever.
