The bosses take passive damage overtime, but beyond that there’s nothing else. Here are some tips.
Final Boss Tips
- Torpedo can wipe out the sub and ship boss so as long as the explosion catches their weakpoints. For the ship boss this means you first must expose the rear weakpoint before those can take damage. The torpedo will not cut through the cover.
- Alcohol rounds also make quick work of most bosses.
- Pressure washer is pretty useful on the plane boss.
- As for the airship boss, it’s the weakest of all the bosses and will succumb to the city folk soonest, so best to just ignore it and focus on the other 3.
- Tumble frame is very useful for the side weakpoints of the final boss, allowing you to setup shots quickly.
- People get themselves into trouble by going to fast in their side approach of the boss, slowdown to give yourself room and time to shoot.
- Wind barrier can also be useful in absorbing all forward facing damage while you make your slow approach.
- Keep your auto turrets and missiles at home for the last boss, they won’t lock for an effortless victory.
- The gravitate ornament will make snatching up falling smog shells, though if you’re gonna chase them, chase upwards, not downwards.
- Have a look at your roster and pick some with combat/flight traits like Nigel, Gojko or Valter for example. Or Ena or Nevena to keep you in the fight longer.
It’s possible to ignore all this and brute force a victory with a single plane build. Heck, I’ve beaten the boss with the starter plane which is arguably the worst combat build. Though ultimately you should be looking to use the right tool for the right job to make it a bit easier.
