Resource Distribution Overview

Crafting items in The Front uses resources. Use the resources you collect to craft increasingly complex items as you play.

Being familiar with where these resources are distributed will help you save time finding them.

Resource Distribution Guide

Stone

Stones can be found scattered on the ground around the default spawn points. Press [F] to pick them up. They can also be acquired by hitting larger minerals with your fist or tool.

Sand

Sand is found when collecting clay, crude oil, and stones from their respective minerals. Among them, clay and crude oil rocks yield the most sand.

Clay

Clay is obtained from clay minerals, which are often found on the sides of rivers. A small amount of clay can be obtained by hitting these minerals with your fist.

However, using shovel tools such as stone shovels and iron shovels will allow you to obtain higher amounts.

Iron Ore

Obtained by mining. This ore can be found scattered around the map, and can be found concentrated in some areas. In areas of high concentration, large amounts of ore can be found.

Copper Ore

Obtained by mining. This ore can be found scattered around the map, and can be found concentrated in some areas. In areas of high concentration, large amounts of ore can be found.

Lead Ore

Obtained by mining. This ore can be found scattered around the map, and can be found concentrated in some areas. In areas of high concentration, large amounts of ore can be found.

Tungsten Ore

Obtained by mining. This ore can be found scattered around desert regions, and can be found concentrated in some areas. In areas of high concentration, large amounts of ore can be found.

Titanium Ore

Obtained by mining. This ore can be found scattered around snowy regions, and can be found concentrated in some areas. In areas of high concentration, large amounts of ore can be found.

Inorganic Salt Ore

Obtained by mining. This ore can be found scattered around desert regions.

Crude Oil

Obtained by mining. This can be found scattered around desert regions, and can be found concentrated in some areas. In areas of high concentration, large amounts can be found. A small amount of crude oil can be obtained by hitting these minerals with your fist.

However, using shovel tools such as stone shovels and iron shovels will allow you to obtain higher amounts.

Carbon Powder

Obtained by burning wood.

Fiber

Obtained in large amounts by harvesting ferns and bushes. You can also get smaller amounts of it by cutting down trees. Growing ferns will allow you to obtain a steady supply.

Wood

Obtained in large amounts by cutting down trees. You can also get smaller amounts of it by collecting fern-type plants.

Resin

Resin can be unlocked from the Basic tab of the Tech interface [O]. Large amounts can be obtained by grinding wood at a Grinding Table, and smaller amounts can be obtained by cutting down trees.

Plant Mucus

Obtained when harvesting dandelions and cacti, and in smaller amounts by harvesting bushes. Dandelions are primarily found in the northern forest, the southeastern island, the southern plains, and in the desert regions. Cacti are primarily found in the desert region.

Cactus Water

Obtained in large amounts by harvesting cacti. Cacti are primarily found in the desert region.

Wild Berry

Can be found when harvesting bushes or ferns.

Tomato

Found in eastern forests. Can be grown.

Watermelon

Found in deserts and forests.

Apple

Apples can only be looted in the wilderness, at points of interest, and from NPC corpses. They cannot be collected like normal resources.

Banana

Bananas can only be looted in the wilderness, at points of interest, and from NPC corpses. They cannot be collected like normal resources.

Sugar Cane

Sugar cane is commonly found in the central forest region. It can also be grown to obtain a steady supply.

Mushroom

Commonly found in forests.

Corn

Corn is commonly found in the western desert and snowy mountain regions. It can also be grown to obtain a steady supply.

Wheat

Wheat is commonly found in the northeastern forest region. It can also be grown to obtain a steady supply.

Chili Pepper

Chili Peppers are commonly found in the southeastern snowy mountain region. They can also be grown to obtain a steady supply.

Hops

Obtained when collecting poppy. Poppy is commonly found in the southeastern swamp region. It can also be grown to obtain a steady supply.

Rotten Vegetables

Obtained when fruit or vegetables go bad.

Corn Seed

Corn seeds can be obtained by eating corn. These can be planted to grow corn for harvesting.

Tomato Seed

Tomato seeds can be obtained by eating tomatoes. These can be planted to grow tomatoes for harvesting.

Fern Seed

Fern seeds can be obtained when collecting ferns. These can be planted to grow ferns for harvesting.

Pepper Seed

Pepper seeds can be obtained when collecting peppers. These can be planted to grow peppers for harvesting.

Sugar Cane Seed

Sugar cane seeds can be obtained when collecting sugar cane. These can be planted to grow sugar cane for harvesting.

Dandelion Seed

Dandelion seeds can be obtained when collecting dandelions. These can be planted to grow dandelions for harvesting.

Wheat Seed

Wheat seeds can be obtained when collecting wheat. These can be planted to grow wheat for harvesting.

Poppy Seed

Poppy seeds can be obtained when collecting poppy. These can be planted to grow poppy for harvesting.

Meat

Collected from animal carcasses.

Rotten Meat

Prawns, trout, or meat that has gone bad.

Bone

Collected from animal carcasses.

Hide

Collected from animal carcasses.

Trout

Collected using a Simple Fish Basket.

Prawn

Collected using a Simple Fish Basket.

Egg

Eggs can be found in the wild or at points of interest.

Water

Water can be found in the wild or at points of interest. It can also be collected using Dew Collectors.

Spices

Spices can be found in the wild, at points of interest, or by killing NPCs.
