Season Planning Guide
Season Start
At the beginning of a season, you have the opportunity to set the team and transfer budget, as well as the club budget for the upcoming season. You can use your negotiation points to increase a single budget, to shift the share between both budgets, or to adjust the season target. Additionally, you have the option to use action points to obtain additional negotiation points.
Managerial Philosophy
At the start of each season, establish the rules that will govern under your leadership. Adhering to your philosophy is crucial for player satisfaction.
Allocation of Back Numbers
At the beginning of a season, you can assign shirt numbers to all players. Changes are not possible during the current season. When signing a new player, a window will appear where you can set the number for your new acquisition. Players may become unhappy if they receive a different number than they desired.
Start of the Week
Each week, you can define your personal focus and training priorities. The personal focus transforms “can” appointments into “must” appointments. Regarding training, your assistant coach plans the sessions for your players. However, it is advisable to oversee the training sessions, as they often contribute to player fatigue. Lastly, you can highlight a particular player for promotion, but avoid favoring your top talent excessively, as it may lead to resentment among other players.
Headquarters
The headquarters serves as the primary screen to commence the week. Here, you obtain an overview of the club’s status. Utilize the menu bar at the bottom to access individual departments, where precise adjustments can be made.
Weekly Planning
In the weekly planning section, you receive suggestions for the upcoming week. Appointment suggestions are categorized as “Must do…”, “Should do…”, and “Could do…”. The categorization of appointments also depends on your weekly focus.
