Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – Basic Smokes and Pop Flashes (New Dust 2)

I decided to show a a few basic smokes and flashes on the new Dust 2.

T-Side A long to Smoke Off Cross Over

  • Line up the left wall with the edge of the 3rd window.
  • Place cross hair just under the sign board.
  • Running throw.

There is a weird small step at cross over which the smoke will get stuck on and so there is a gap on the right of the smoke. Be careful when crossing.

Flash pops in the red circle and should blind Ts pushing long aggressively. Team mates will need to turn to avoid getting flashed.

  • Stand on the left corner of this dark pillar.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Basic Smokes and Pop Flashes (New Dust 2)

  • Aim at the wooden supports above the lamppost. Do not aim too low as the support structure will make it bounce wide.
  • Standing throw.

Similar Nades to the Old Dust 2

There are a few similar flashes and molotovs to the old Dust 2. They just need some practicing and getting used to where to aim with all the new buildings.

  • Bounce flash up B site ramp through B doors.
  • Catwalk / A short molotov to site.
  • Catwalk / A short flash over the buildings.
  • Flashing long from long doors on T side (same position as the smoke to block the CT awper but more open to mistakes in crosshair placement).
  • Mid smoke from T side.
  • Mid smoke from CT side (to cross).
