How to Make Money Easy
Platinum Plates
I’ve found the next way to be the fastest one when it comes to making money in Yakuza 4.
Make sure you have at least 1.000.000 Yen first – pretty easy, especially after finishing your first playthrough. Now make your way to Purgatory, and head to Casino (right across the Coliseum).
Buy 10 000 chips which will cost you exactly 1.000.000 Yen. Now go back and save your game ( there are two save points : one inside the Coliseum area, and one at Purgatory’s entrance ). Head back to Casino and play Baccarat, bet 10 000 chips on Tie. If you win – you get 90 000 chips, if you lose – you load your save and try again, might take you 4-5 minutes to get a win.
Now go and exchange prizes, you want to buy Platinum Plates. Make sure your inventory is empty, buy the maximum amount and head to Save point to put them into your item box. Rinse and repeat 3 times.
Make you way to Ebisu pawn and sell all your Platinum Plates.
Profit.
