Inferlupa Quest

Starting the Quest

To start the Inferlupa quest, talk to the NPC Inferlupa. It can be found east of the Alpha Scorchhowl, near some dead trees. Inferlupa only appears at night.

Inferlupa gives you the quest “Warrior.”

You can progress through the quest much faster by completing the following objectives:

1. Beat or catch the Alpha Scorchhowl.
2. Find and beat or catch the Glyncera named Recas, which is located in the cave beneath the plateau.
3. At night, find the Emberpups gathered around a campfire south of Inferlupa and talk to them.

If you cannot find the required NPCs or Emberpups, follow the objectives listed in the “Warrior” quest.

Progressing the Inferlupa Quest

After completing the initial objectives, go to Base Camp and talk to Icho, the Prismana Scorchhowl. Exhaust all of Icho’s dialogue.

You then need to wait for a daily reset.

After the daily reset:

1. Talk to Icho again.
2. At night, talk to the Emberpups around the campfire south of Inferlupa.
3. Return to Inferlupa and talk to it again.

You must then wait for another server reset.

After the next server reset:

1. Talk to the Emberpups around the campfire one more time.
2. Return to Inferlupa.
3. Defeat Inferlupa.

After defeating Inferlupa, you can evolve.

Inferlupa Cutscene

A cutscene plays after defeating Inferlupa. The cutscene may cause the game to crash when it starts. If this happens, reload the game. The progress should be saved after defeating Inferlupa.

Additional Quest Items

After the cutscene, or after reloading the game if it crashed, turn around and find a Flameruff and three Emberpups.

Talk to each of them. They provide quest items used for other quests.

There are also small sparkles on the ground in the forest around the Emberpups. Look for and collect both.

Inferlupa Evolution Item

Inferlupa appears at night, while Flameruffs spawn in the same area during the day.

Defeat the Flameruffs for a chance to obtain the evolution item, which resembles a ghost wolf.

You need 6 of these evolution items.

Inferlupa is here at night, while Flameruffs spawn here during the day and have a chance to drop the evo item when defeated.
