How-To
Finally beat the bastard. I was stuck on his second phase flame sword attack and find that you can hover over it and dodge it completely with the right timing.
Gear I used
- RF 024 Turner (default rifle).
- Vvc-770 LB (second sword you unlock).
- HI-16 GU-Q1 (pulse gun on left shoulder).
- Vvc-70VPM (Pulse rockets Right shoulder).
My main strategy was to stay on him, spamming rockets and the Pulse Gun. I recommend trying to get in sword hits too to conserve ammo if possible, because idk if the pulse gun has enough ammo for the entire fight. Pulse gun shreds his shield, so charge in for a melee and stay on him to get melees off while spamming your gun and rockets at him.
His phase 2 flame sword can be dodged by hovering above him at the right time. Too early and he’ll track you upwards.
Without swapping to this gear, I would not have beaten him lmao. I’ve been using the Burst Rifle because it looks like an AK and it was terrible for this fight.
