Tips: Use the “Command: Drop” Spell immediately when entering combat. This will ensure that the Commanders damage output will be lower and make it even easier to just pick up the sword and leave if you don’t care about the achievement.

You should quicksafe while the fight is ongoing since the Mindflayer will do most of the damage needed to kill the Commander and if he dies early you won’t have to reload all of the fight.
