BONELAB – How to Obtain My Pal Apollo Achievement

Introduction

Are you wondering if My Pal Apollo is still broken, or want to complete the rarest achievement in the game? Look no further.

Before we get into this, My Pal Apollo is now possible on both Oculus Quest 2 and PCVR. It used to have a reoccurring bug where Apollo simply wouldn’t spawn in level 14, Home.

Guide

Firstly, you will have to delete all game data if you have already completed the game unfortunately.

Secondly find your way through Descent all the way up to the two big wooden doors. After you open them, you will see multiple lockers on the left side of your screen. Open the third locker and grab the Blue Apollo out of the locker. Continue to carry him throughout the levels, holding him with a hand each time you exit a level.

Edit: You do not have to delete your save to achieve this.

Tips and Tricks

If you’re climbing a ladder, for example in the BONELAB HUB, hook your arm holding Apollo through one of the steps while climbing.

One last tip for level 14, Home.

At the final point in the level (The field with the windmill) quickly switch to the Tall avatar, then place Apollo on the protruding surface half-way up the windmill, continue to climb up to a point where you can still force-grab him. Hold onto Apollo and throw him up with one hand and quickly climb up one step at a time, catching him with your dominant hand.
