What Do I Have to Do to Get Tech Boat

The Tech Boat can be purchased from the Boat Shop for $5,000,000 after you have caught the “Phase” introduced in the “Ancient Ancestors” update and the “Abyssal”.

How to Catch “Abyssal”

The Abyssal is the one of the three fish that require the use of the expensive Mega hook lure, which is unlocked once the player reaches level 40. Catching this rare fish requires patience and time, and it may be helpful to clear the water of Medium and Large fish using bombs. The Abyssal is also a very tricky catch in Realism mode, as it fights hard against the line.

  • A Mega hook (which costs $50,000 so it is recommended to locate the Abyssal first).
  • Master Rod will make catching it easier in Realism mode.
  • Sinker rod upgrade, since it lives in the deep.
  • Lightbulb lure.
  • Gauge and Improved Crank upgrades on Realism mode (at least three is ideal).

How to Catch “Phase”

As it is a Small fish, bait isn’t needed to catch the Phase. However, players will probably find a Lightbulb useful when trying to find it in the deeper water where it usually hangs out. Using Bombs and the detonator upgrade to scare away any bulbeaters is highly advised. Phase wonders the whole deep cave and even some parts of Garm’s den so its best to keep searching and not staying in one spot, however phase is also very slow so make sure to stop from time to time to check if its not just trailing behind your lure as phase has a very big lunge radius.

The Phase can’t be caught until its two stereoscopic forms merge into its normal form. The player can trigger this by hovering the hook over one of the stereoscopic halves and waiting until they drift back together.
