How to Save Videos
- Step 1: Record a video, and then retrieve the film.

- Step 5: Click the “Save Video To Desktop” or something button.

When you get an error extracting your latest video hit F3, and a directory will open which contains your videos from that session. Do not close the game until you back them up to another location, as closing the application will clear the temp folder.
If F3 for some reason does not open the directory, check this while the game is running:
- C:\Users*Username*\AppData\Local\Temp\rec
Additionally, this may not work if you do not have the correct permissions on your current user to write to the temp directory.
Here is the video guide that will help you to find saved video recordings:
For Proton Users
Your home folder
If you’re on Steam Deck this is:
- /home/deck
If you’re on something else it’s at:
- /home/[your username]
Note: if you don’t know this open up a terminal and type in:
- echo $USER
If you’re on something weird you might need to run:
- echo $HOME
To get your home folder
it’s at:
- $HOME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2881650/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Desktop
Note: where $HOME is replaced with your home folder.
Do you know how to change the storage location for .webm videos? My C drive is running out of space and I’m having trouble.
I’m Japanese and still struggling to find accurate information about this game. Could you please help me if you can?
