How to Enable – Steps

  • Edit your CP77 settings normally before we start.
  • Go to OC folder, then:
    • \Users(userName)\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077
  • Find UserSettings.json and open it in any editor.
  • Find DLSS_D option and set value to true, then save the file.
  • Done.

(Optional) after you save the file, open file settings and set “Read only”, that will not allow you or game to change that value.

P.S: For me instead of increase 1-2 FPS i get reduce of 3-5 FPS on my RTX 3080. I guess it happened because both Denoisers work at the same time.

  1. NVIDIA Real-Time Denoisers (NRD)
  2. NVIDIA Ray Reconstruction AI

But, you will get better image quality.

And we should wait untill CDPR and NVIDIA allow us to use it without Path tracing…

  1. Any cons or can it harm our gpu by using it without nvidia’s proper announcement?
    I’m using 3080 also.

  2. Interesting to see how different the FPS results are using it.
Im running i9-13900K, GTX 4070, my frames go from 30-40 -> 60-70 stable. Lots of ghosting though (which is expected from such a drastic frame increase)

  3. Using i5-13600k + RTX 4090 at 1440p resolution (ultra wide 3440×1440 ) I get these results :

(Game is at maximum settings with quality DLSS + RT Psycho)

    Ray Reconstruction Disabled :
    fps range : 59.46 – 108.35 (avg : 89.61 fps)

    Ray Reconstruction Enabled
    fps range : 68.77 – 98.81 (avg : 80.49 fps)

I get less average fps when enabling Ray Reconstruction, but somehow my low fps are higher
