How to Deal with Chucky

During his power charge / slice and dice, play him like you would play a blight. He can hug the wall like the oni at the speed of the blight.
The difference being that Chucky can easily spin up to 180 degrees since he’s in third person. Speaking of being in third person, you can really mess with them if you have hard angles that you can juke with. Despite having more vision in general, having yourself be at third person makes it somewhat tricky if you need to be precise around a corner.
Being a slower movement speed means overall map traversal is very slow for him, and his natural abilities don’t distract survivors or help him find them. ANY success you can have with stealth will waste a lot of his time; imagine playing as Chucky, crossing the map to check a generator, and not being able to find the person on it; then just needing to search elsewhere.
This does also mean being aware of common information perks like Barbecue and Chili, or Nowhere to Hide (reveal on hook, reveal on gen kick) and making sure you don’t play so stealthy your team gets killed.
His laugh is actually directional, if you have a good headset you can tell which direction he’s moving in. And you hear it no matter if he’s in Hidey Ho or not. It’s basically a lullaby. If you don’t hear his laugh he’s after someone else. Simple.
Outside of his Hidey Ho mode, you can see his footsteps. Even through obstacles.
When he does his Slice and Dice, he screams VERY loudly, and if you listen out for that, it’s really easy to time DH. It’s also very hard to turn during the attack, so if you juke sharply especially around terrain, he’s literally got to fling his mouse across the room to try and 180 to hitting you, and it’s more luck than actual precision.
He’s also slow, 110% speed compared to the normal 115. Some loops if you’re a veteran looper you can extend a bit more if your distancing is good.
