Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes – Important Tips for Beginners

Useful Tips for New Players

Tips for the First Boss of Proving Grounds

Use armor breaking attack on the angel enemies like Nowa 1 sp skill and the rest focus on the big golem. Eventually the golem will stuck to only heal the armor of the angel and wont attack you at all. After the golem fall, be wary of the archer attack.

When you see the angel waking up the archer, I would suggest just defend since the next attack will hit all of your party member and it hit quite hard.

Tips for the Kraken (Momo) Boss Fight

You hit the flood gate lever a bit until it flips and drains the water, then you have a unit load the cannon on one turn and fire it the next. But it has to be the same person.

I’m not sure how much damage had to be done to the lever, but I had a couple people attacking it when it needed to be hit.

Tips for Card Battle Mini-Game

Card Battle

In “Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes,” you can start Card Battles after you get Glen and set up the Card Shop. Build a deck of 36 cards split into four suits: Green (Clubs), Blue (Spades), Yellow (Diamonds), and Red (Hearts). Each suit has cards numbered from 1 to 9. Get cards by buying Card Packs or completing missions.

Game Rules

The battlefield has three fields where each player places three cards. Each field has a point value shown by crowns, ranging from 1 to 3. Players take turns putting a card in a field. Once a field has three cards from each player, compare their total power. The highest score wins that field and earns points equal to the field’s value plus their own points. If it’s a tie, no points are given.

Special Hands

Your strength and field points will be increased when you assemble one of these unique hands.

  • Straight: +2 Power, +1 Field Point
  • Flush: +2 Power, +1 Field Point
  • Three of a Kind: +3 Power, +2 Field Points
  • Straight Flush: +5 Power, +3 Field Points

Turns

Start the game by drawing four cards and play one. On the next turns, discard one card, then draw two more and play one.

Ending the Game

The game ends when all fields are full. The player with the most Victory Points wins.

General Tips

  • Make sure to clear out you castle storage sometimes. I was wondering why I wasn’t getting any vinegar and it turns out my food storage at the castle was full.
  • Tip for NG+ put the acc you want on Now, Garr, Lian and Mio. so you can start with stuff like more XP and move speed.
  • When you go to an inn where you can store/retrieve gear, you can pick an option gear prep, which lets you equip anyone and the inventory is from your stash, too. So you can store all your armor and stuff and swap it out as necessary there.
  • If you plan to grind for all recipies (aka get platinum) and haven’t completed the story in Ardinale City yet, make sure to grind the shop rare item there while you still teleport directly into the item shop. The walk down from the inn is a pita.

Where do I go next for Beigoma to recruit Reid or Dr. Corque?

See this chart:

Where do I get more Beigoma? These starters suck!

Beigoma can be monster drops. Items like Lucky Badge may help by increasing the number of drops.

I am short on money or interested in trading. Where do I start?

What you get for having a save file from Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

  • If you built the Clock Tower in Rising, it will be built in 100 Heroes.
  • You will get a Rune of Wind Enchantment (Wind Sword Rune).
  • The names of the meals and weapons of CJ, Isha and Garoo will carry over to 100 Heroes, as you can name these items in Rising.

That is all that the game says is provided when transferring data, when starting a new game on 100 Heroes.

Where do I find my backer number?

To access your backer ID and survey head over to Kickstarter and log in.

Once you are logged in, click on your account image in the top right of the website, and choose “Profile” from the drop down. From there you can see a list of your “Backed” projects”.

Click on Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. When that page loads, there should be text at the top saying “You backed this project”.

Click the link that says “View Pledge”. From there you can find a receipt of your pledge as well as your backer number at the very bottom.

If I get Rising and Hundred Heroes on different platforms, can I still transfer my save data?

If you plan on transferring save data from Rising to Hundred Heroes, you will need to play them both on the same platform (e.g. PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation).

The only exceptions are if you upgrade a PS4 to a PS5 Rising copy or Xbox One to an Xbox Series X Rising copy. However, if a Rising file has been downgraded from a PS5 or Xbox Series X, it cannot be imported into a PS4 or Xbox One Hundred Heroes file.

Where to find Francesca (The Healer)?

To locate her, enter the village and proceed up the stairs ahead, then turn left. You’ll find her dealing with some bothersome village men. Nowa will step in to assist, but she’s quite capable on her own. Once resolved, you can enlist her onto your team.

Francesca serves as your party’s healer and brings significant value to your team. Position her in the defensive back row, and if using Auto Battle, prioritize her healing actions to maintain the team’s strength and buffs.
