Farming Guide for New Players

Credit Farming Goal

To get as many credits as possible in a given time. You want the best credit per minute gains as possible. Upgrades such as managers, mothership rooms, space station, and premium ships will impact your speed and credits.

Basic Helps

GV should be a multiple of x10, such as:

  • 10M, 100M, 1B, 10B, 100B, 1T, etc.
  • Remember quantity of galaxies over quality is key here!
  • Galaxies with higher GV give diminishing returns in credits

Invest credits into Mothership Rooms which support farming speed or credit gains:

  • Engineering
  • Packaging
  • Aero
  • Forge
  • Underforge
  • Lounge

Farming is about “muscle memory”. The more you practice farming, the faster you become.

Farming Strategies

Beginner Sell at 10 Million GV Mark

Note: This might take hours early on.

  • The goal here is to get galaxy times as low as possible.
  • Usually the first 7-11 planets are opened.
  • Focus on smelting.
    • Smelters managers help a lot at this stage.
    • Smelt whatever alloy gives you the most money (usually where you have most stars, e.g. silicon or silver).
  • Crafting is useless and asteroids don’t give you much.
  • Research:
    • Advance Furnace (20% smelting speed)
    • Advanced Alloy Value (20% value increase)
  • Autosell ores you don’t need.
  • In Mothership Rooms invest (whatever is cheaper of these rooms):
    • Forging
    • Lounge
    • Classroom
  • Your beacon points invest into the first node for p1-p4 until at least 1.4 multiplier.

Advanced Beginner: Get 10M Galaxy Under 10 Minutes

Note: The strategy here is to get galaxy time way below 10 minutes.

  • As progressing more managers might come.
  • Secondary skills welcomed are:
    • All Smelt
    • All Craft
    • All Mine
  • Open planets up to: p11, p13 or even p16.
  • Still focus on smelting and add up a bit of mining
    • Smelt most valuable alloy.
    • Autosell ores you don’t need for smelting.
  • In research tree add to your routine
    • Advanced Mining research (+25% mining bonus)
  • Beacon points invest into first 16 planets
  • Mothership invest in:
    • Forge
    • Lounge
    • Classroom
    • Engineering, Packaging, or Aeronautical * (if needed)*.
  • Space Station invest in:
    • Mining 2

Farmer: Switch to Mining – Could Be Used from 10M to 1T

Note: This is mid to end game strategy using mining.

Managers:

  • You want a manager and slot for every planet you unlock
  • Number and quality plays the main role here.
  • The more managers you have with higher stars the better.
    • Sometimes around this point the Mining become stronger than smelting.
  • Smelters and crafters will help you with the research tree.
  • The more mining power you have the faster your runs will be.
    • When you sell your galaxy 6x in 10 minutes consider going to higher rank. e. g. from 10M to 100M.
    • Start populating your planets with smelter(s) or crafter(s) then keep adding miners.
    • Managers with mining primary and secondary are the best.
  • Promote 4* managers into 5* with mining primary and secondary until you have 10 of them
  • When mining power becomes too powerful place 1 cargo and/or 1 ship speed managers
  • Usually open planets up to: p11, p13 or p16.
  • Research Tree open up to:
    • Telescopes 4
    • Advanced Mining research (+25% mining bonus)
  • Leverage an asteroid:
    • Last Galaxy in your 10 minute runs should end after asteroid appear giving you extra credits.

Beacon Tokens:

  • p11-p13
  • p14-p16
    • Max p14-p16 first because those planets will be your most profitable.

Further Mothership Upgrades:

  • Lounge until lvl 30-45
  • Classroom to lvl 30-35
  • Engineering to 30-40
  • Belt Studies – invest some levels to support size of an asteroid

Useful Space Station upgrades:

  • Mining 1-2
  • Managers 1-8
  • Credits 1-8
  • Asteroid & Debris 1-6
  • Cargo 1-2
  • Ship Speed 1-2

Lazy Farmer: This Whole Run Takes 10 Minutes

Note: You can use principles described in Farmer strategy and go little bit easier here.

  • Sell after collecting first asteroid.
  • This galaxy gives +x% to your regular farmer runs based on your mining and asteroid power.

Mothership Upgrades:

  • Engineering
  • Classroom
  • Lounge
  • Belt Studies

Useful Space Station Upgrades:

  • Mining 1-2
  • Managers 1-8
  • Credits 1-8
  • Asteroid & Debris 1-6

P4 Farmer

Note: This strategy is a fun, easy and less demanding on managers and clicking using only first 4 planets.

  • Open first 4 planets
  • Research Manager
  • Place 4 strongest managers:
    • Ideally miner/miner
  • Autosell 100% all three ores
  • Sell at desired GV level based on your power
  • Beacon points:
    • Max 1st node for p1-p4
  • Challenge Stars:
    • Copper, Iron
  • Mothership rooms upgrades:
    • Engineering
    • Classroom
    • Lounge
  • Useful Space Station upgrades:
    • Mining 1-2
    • Managers 1-8
    • Credits 1-8
