How-To

No custom settings needed. Just remove their ability to spawn.

The important mechanic: animals can’t spawn within a certain radius of player-made constructs (I think it’s about 50m).

Start building a gravel road from just outside their aggro range, then run towards the center (where the icon is) and place down the other end of the road as close as possible to the center of their zone before you die.

Next season, they won’t respawn, and you can replace the road with something less unsightly.

You can do this with any spawn point. Do this to dangerous paths you travel often, and you can go back to frolicking through the woods carelessly while still leaving the option to hunt Wolf and Bear elsewhere on the map.
