Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – Tips for a Cavalry Focused Bannerlord

Cavalry Tips

Generic tips I have for cavalry:

  • When possible engage from the rear or sides.
  • Hit the enemy when they are already tied down fighting something else.
  • Do not be afraid to dismount them if the situation calls for it (terrain, etc).
  • Use them to take out the enemy ranged units as soon as you can.

Have range, either mounted or on foot. Use them as a primary target at the front of the army, and then fall back when the main force gets close. This allows for a flank from the main cavalry force.

Make sure to split up your cavalry a bit too. Have a small group that can guard your ranged as they retreat or prevent any flanks from enemy cavalry while your main group does the big work.
