Useful Tips for Gamers Struggling to Beat Daisuke

Make sure you buy the 200RS, NOT the 180.
The 200RS is a 6-speed whereas the 180 only has 5. It might not seem like much of a difference, but it just barely makes it possible to keep up with him.
His AI is completely *** and he still rubberbands like crazy but if you get ahead of him in the first half of the race, just make sure to not give him space to overtake. He’s tough but winnable.
If you bought the 180 as your first car, I recommend following one of the tutorials on here for resetting your save file, it’s pretty straightforward.
Update: Upgrading the car just seems to make the AI worse so don’t even do that. My tip was my own experience and maybe it’s different for everybody but I’m able to beat Daisuke pretty consistently now with a stock 200RS. Except in drag races. If you don’t have NOS you will lose. I suggest not playing until there’s a hotfix but this is how I’m making money atm.
