Units needed per bay:

  • 2 Armored walls
  • 2 Generic walls
  • 2 Floors
  • 3 Batteries
  • 21 Material Crates

How to Build

Place the armored wall on the inside of your base, with two generic walls sticking out. Place all 21 material crates 2 stacks of 9 with 3 lining the middle. Place two batteries on the inside of the generic walls. Now place the 2nd armored wall on the outside with another battery on that wall.

  1. My Early build used something basically like this, but I put another wall in the middle for core output instead, I have more room for the material crates than I have crates, with 38 “cubes” that fit two batteries and 12 material crates each. But after some time in snow, I can now afford quite a few small generators, and changed the build up–
    – generic wall
    – battery + 6 material crates
    – utility wall
    – battery, generator, and 5 material crates (U shape, generator only needs the top middle removed)
    – generic wall

So each tile has the utility wall in the middle, I doubled my core output from ~500 to 1,000 easy.

  2. Just use the pillars. 3 pillars side by side = 6 batteries or 4 generators. As a bonus, they increase the HP of the tiles.

  3. if you also want to boost core power place a utility wall parallel to the armored wall and put a generator on it. cuts into the material cap but the nice boost in core power is worth it imho

    • I agree, If we flipped the utility wall around it wouldn’t take up any space from the material crates. Might not look as neat on the interior though.
