Outpost: Infinity Siege – Structural Support and How It Works

How Structural Support Works (Specifically)

So it seems like every structure provides the same amount of support (With Stairs consuming 2 support, not providing it).

Using Small Tiles as the baseline, any Structural Support will provide 6 points, with Utility Tiles and Armored Tiles both consuming 2 points each.

These ‘Support Points’ or SP are calculated based on the direction branching from each individual structure. This means that it doesn’t matter if 3 Utility Tiles are already constructed in one direction, you can construct more in the other direction. Tiles connected along these tiles count from the hardpoint they are connected to individually. There is no ‘weight’ system.

Likewise, there is no need for an entire structure to make contact: Only the hardpoints need to connect.
