Notes
- Enemy armor absorbs damage on any part you hit and does NOT have Headshot damage multiplier. AP damage are calculated separately based on AP value and applies headshot damage multiplier if it was a headshot. For reference, a weapon dealing 50 damage with 0.5 AP will deal 50 Damage on armor and 25 damage on health.
- Armor absorbs last hit before breaking. Overflowing armor damage does not transfer to health/AP damage.
- Enemies have armor threshold value that subtracts from AP value on weapons.
- Cutting Shot skill increases AP by 0.1.
- The AP stats shown are already subtracted by 0.5, which is what Heavy SWAT uses. Shielder ignores an additional 0.5 AP from damage source, dozers can negate all but one weapon’s AP value to 0.
- SWAT base at 150HP, Light units 70AP and heavy units 170AP.
Would you mind showing the % with and without Cutting Shot ?
It’s maybe me.
But I’m having a lot of trouble to understand how armor pen work exactly. Even when I read the part about “AP Threshold”.
Maybe you could put an example with one of the weapons so It’s could be easier to understand it.
Sorry I ask too much of you. I’m curious about it since i mostly play with the skill and was wondering how much value I was getting of it.
Cutting Shot increases AP by a flat value of 0.1
Keep in mind it needs Edge buff to be active, although the bonus is small. Calculating how many shots is needed to down a SWAT for each weapon is probably better since not all weapons will improve from it.
CAR-4 usually needs 3 hit in head but with Cutting Shot active it only takes 2 in head, whereas for KU-59, regardless of having cutting shot, will always take 2 hits on head to down a SWAT
“dozers can negate all but one weapon’s AP value to 0.” which weapon has AP against dozers?
