Project Playtime – Connection Error Fix Guide

So, you might have a problem when trying to connnect to any lobbies, but you got an error message? This guide will help you solve this issue easily with few solutions.

How to Solve Connection Error Issue

Solution 1 (Server List)

You have to find a server that isn’t full or empty (around 3-5) players is good. Then try to connect to it, if you don’t see anything happening, just wait. If after some time of waiting you got an error message, try to reconnect to the server again and wait. If it still doesn’t work, then the server isn’t working and you’ll need to switch to the other one (Do not use quick play, use the server list. Cuz quick play reallly loves to crash the game).

Solution 2 (Quick Play)

As of right now, the game is in BETA. So, in most cases, using quick play just crashes the game, or either gives out an error message. For this one, sadly you can’t really do much. As it’s more of a server issues. So we have to wait for the next updates (and server fixes) for it to work, but you can use the server list option instead.

Solution 3 (Host Game)

Players aren’t joining

For this one, it’s complicated. As you open a new server in the server list. But if you’re getting no players in few hours, that’s is well known problem. But it’s based on how well is your internet connection is (High ping). As if it’s poor players could just get crashed back to the main menu. (Which is a reason why you’re getting crashed off so many servers!) or the problem could be that your graphics settings are too high, so that your pc may lag or freeze sometimes.

Friends can’t join

Almost the same problem as with the players, but just make sure that the friend has a good performance. And that your ping is okay, and so is your friend’s ping.
