Assassin Soul Destroyer Build Guide

Soul Destroyer is a ranged burst build for Assassin that converts its damage into Ranged Physical Damage. Unlike traditional melee Assassin builds, it excels in PvP by allowing you to attack safely from range while scaling with both physical and magical offensive stats.

How Soul Destroyer Scales

Soul Destroyer’s damage scales from:

• ATK
• MATK
• STR
• INT

All of these contribute to Ranged Physical Damage, making equipment and bonuses that increase either physical or magical offensive stats valuable.

Character Progression

Start as Hunter

If you’re not a heavy spender, it is recommended to begin the game as a Hunter instead of an Assassin.

The main advantage is obtaining an Orc Archer Card after approximately seven days, which significantly benefits your future Soul Destroyer build because the skill deals Ranged Physical Damage.

Farming the card later can take a considerable amount of time, making the Hunter start a more efficient option.

Transition to Assassin

After changing from Hunter to Assassin:

• Use a Jur build until Lv.70.
• Avoid investing heavily into Dual Dagger equipment before Lv.70.

Most Dual Dagger equipment, accessories, and special skills used before Lv.70 will eventually be replaced, making early investment inefficient.

Level 70 Equipment

Prioritize:

• Holy Dagger
• Royal Holy Dagger (Best)

The Holy Dagger increases Soul Destroyer damage based on its refinement level.

The Royal Holy Dagger also provides Baldur Might, which increases both ATK and MATK based on weapon refinement, further boosting Soul Destroyer damage.

Armor

Use the Odin Set as soon as you reach Lv.70.

The Odin Set increases:

• ATK
• MATK
• Physical Damage
• Magic Damage

All of these contribute to Soul Destroyer’s damage.

Royal equipment is not required immediately. Compared to the standard version, the main advantage is Sif Protection, which primarily provides additional HP.

These accessories provide offensive stats that directly improve Soul Destroyer’s scaling.

Refinement

Aim for at least +15 refinement.

If refinement materials become limited:

Gameplay Tips

• Soul Destroyer excels in PvP, Arena and Guild War.
• For PvE farming, a Katar build using Rolling Cutter and Poison generally provides higher damage due to critical hits.
• Adapt your element to the encounter.
• Avoid using Poison against enemies resistant or immune to Poison damage, such as Undead monsters.
• If necessary, disable Enchant Poison and use elemental support such as Aspersio from a Priest instead.

Rune Recommendations

No universal Rune setup is recommended.

The optimal Rune Resonance depends on:
